BS was never a courier company to begin woth...they're a supplier/distro so sure f*** up when they try to deliver themselves.

GDex's core business is a courier/delivery service so they will excel in getting stuff delivered to customers.

Normally a telco will ask a delivery company to deliver it for them but some bright spark at Maxis outsource it to BS asking them to handle the delivery too.
*
And BS is now an Apple Authorized Reseller. The plot thickens. whistling.gif

Save yourself from further heartbreak. Just cancel the order with Maxis. Im pretty sure Digi and Celcom customers are laughing at us as Maxis customers. Seems like everyone has got their phones except those who preordered on MOS. shakehead.gif

Apple online store and other telcos have stocks at hand right now.

Hi guys, i'm currently using a GS4 with maxis contract of 2gb per month for rm50. My contract isnt up until May 2015. So i was wondering if i buy an iphone off contract, will I be able to continue using my current maxis plan with the iphone?

I know I have to get the sim card changed from a microsim to a nanosim, but i'm just wondering about the continuation of the plan.
*
Yes, why wont you be able to?

Finally got my 6Plus Gold today, 13/11/14

Let me take you through my "Experience" from Preordering from Maxis Online Store.

-Like everyone else, I was waiting for the MOS to get online on the 31/10/14. Tried to log in but just couldn't get into their website. Tried and tried logging in from 12am to morning in between short naps and getting up to try. It was really mad. The site was down most of them time. Tried in the morning while in the office till night time and still couldn't log in. Once or twice manage to get into booking page, but didnt get to placed an order for it. Kept trying and trying until midnight and gave up because still couldn't log in. Woke up on the 1st November at 5am and thought wanted to give it a try. Suprisingly, it was a smooth log in and I placed my order. Was quoted 7 Working days delivery from the 6th November. Couldn't select self collect at KLCC on the 6th as it was full already.

-Didnt get selected for Midnight Collection. So had to wait for them to deliver to me. Called CS and asked if I could self collect at KLCC on the 6th and was turned down as the say they have no such policy.

-6/11 - Status on MOS changed to Order Status : Order Confirmed.

-8/11 - Status on MOS - TRACK button and function appeared. Was told once there is a Track button on your MOS status, means stock is already allocated for you.

-10/11- Status Changed to Pickpack. Called Brightstar. Was told that my phone was with them already and are waiting to be "Packed". Ask if I could self collect and was turned down. Reason- Maxis doesn't allow.

-11/11- No news. Called and was told that it would be coming "these one or two days". Again asked to self collect, they say must seek Maxis's approval.

-12/11- Called Brightstar. Was told that the "phone was already out for delivery". When I got really frustrated and talked to a manager, he got someone to call me back. Promised delivery today. Confirmed. Waited patiently. No one called, no news no nothing. Called them later in the evening, and they got a woman to call me back saying definately sending to me tomorrow (12/11) by afternoon. Confirmed again. Call Maxis 123, told them I wanted to cancel and CS say no problem and will get it done for me. Immediately, my order on MOS immediately dissapeared. (That was the fastest update I could get doh.gif ).

-13/11- Nobody from Brightstar called. No delivery truck no nothing. Maxis 123 called me again asking if I confirm cancellign the order. I gave them a piece of my mind and said that I want to cancel if they dont send to me today. The CS say will get back to me. No news. Waited till 2pm because Brighstar promised that they will send by afternoon. Call Brighstar again and the CS at Brightstar had no idea what happened to my package and apologized. Promised to get someone from logistics to call. 3:30pm , a lady called me back. At that time I was already around PJ area. She apologized and told me the lorry broke down so wanted to send again tomorrow. I told directly, enough of all this bullshit, Im nearby PJ and I will collect from your office and Im on my way. I was very upset already and she was said she had to call Maxis. I told her i dont care, I want my phone because I PAID for it already since the 1st. Went up to their office and she let me collect my phone. I looked at the Delivery order, and the date was 11/11 and then changed to 12/11 then 13/11. I asked her why didnt deliver the unit and she couldn't answer. rclxub.gif

Once collected, Maxis immediately sent me a message saying My Order has been dispatched. Then another message and emailed saying my order has been delivered.

As Im typing this, Maxis 123 called me to confirm if I have received the phone. My question is, why suddenly all the concern when after I self collected. Why not beforehand?

I have bought my previous Iphone 5 and 5s from Maxis and has been a Maxis customer for many years. This time to be fair, Maxis did deliver my Iphone 6 to me with the promised 7 working days from the 6th because its only the 13/11 today. But not without many calls here and there (and I MEAN IT, MANY), broken promises, headaches, ill informed Maxis and Brightstar CS and ultimately I had to collect the phone myself from their office in PJ.

Is is worth it to go to all these trouble to get an Iphone from Maxis? It is up for you guys to decide. Good luck to those who have yet to get your phones. Im sure you will learn something from my experience here and hope you will receive your phones soon.

QUOTE(steve1703 @ Nov 13 2014, 06:52 PM)
so thats mean I have to directly to them and scold them like a b****?
*
Im not saying that. What Im trying to tell you is that you really have to follow up on your case yourself. Dont expect Maxis or Brightstar Cs to follow up with you.

QUOTE(seancorr @ Nov 13 2014, 07:29 PM)
Wow talk about crap customer service and I believe I will be going through the same shyt you went through later when the phone does not turn up on my doorstep after Maxis promised me the phone will be arriving tomorrow when I called them up to cancel my order saying that Maxis themselves will be delivering it and not BS or GDex so I need not cancel my order. Maybe I won't be getting it at all since there is no track button, SMS or call from anyone and I seriously find it weird when Maxis CS told me some phones are delivered by themselves.....

This is my first time ordering it from Maxis and will be my last. Too much trouble like you said and its not worth my time and stress, heck even my work doesn't give the same amount of stress I'm going through now.
*
Do update us till you get your phone. Believe me I have heard the same crap from the cs over and over again and I never failed to be dissapointed.

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 13 2014, 08:13 PM)
Which is why I'm still waiting to walk into a maxis outlet to purchase. Patience is a virtue smile.gif

Anyway, Congrats on finally getting your phone! I just wonder if some of this is caused by the introduction of Brightstar as a distributor for the first time.
*
No stock at the moment except 16GB for walk ins. tongue.gif heck they cant even deliver for those who preordered.

Hey guys, mine worst, ordered on 31st Oct at around 2.30am[MOS1334XXX], the order status I last checked just now is " Your Order is being processed from our end", no way to track.

Some of my friends who ordered on 1st Nov, 2nd Nov, have already received their phones. One thing I really want to know is, do they really practice FIFO concept?? or something else??What is the point to forsake our sleep and battle their server glitches like a fools on the launched night and only realized now that you will get last!!!

TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
*
No track buttons means no stock allocated for you yet. Be patient since a lot who ordered on the 31st, 1st also have not received theirs yet.

QUOTE(steve1703 @ Nov 13 2014, 09:11 PM)
I make a huge mistake.First of all, Digi iphone is cheaper than maxis and im a digi user previously. so I saw alot of complain from digi lowyat about the iphone, so I decide to switch to maxis because I thought of better coverage and 4G? I would had my Iphone on hand right now if I order from Digi.. freaking regret!!

Wrong move pal. tongue.gif

You are right! I just don't understand why they insist to deliver where they don't have enough man power and resources.
*
You guys just dont get it do you? They dont have enough stocks to go around. They are just buying time by giving all these excuses and reasons.

You baru gave a super long cerita of how you crashed their door to get your damn phone, forget already meh aiyo uncle...  doh.gif
*
Well aunty, if NotSoBrightstar can confirm your unit is with them already, Im sure you can do a better job in gate crashing their offices doors. tongue.gif Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. laugh.gif

Btw, how long does it take for Maxis to update to the new plan?

I was on a 12 months contract for my 5S on iValue Simple, now I changed to iValue 1 but still not yet update my plan hmm?
*
The new plan will run when you activate the nano sim card sent together with the phone. Did you call 123 and activate your new sim card?

i called maxis and the CS said will deliver to me by today with gdex, but can't provide me consignment id for me to check with gdex.

Is that anyway for me to contact gdex to arrange delivery schedule?

My location is at K.Damansara

For Klang Valley deliveries, BS (BullShit) delivers themselves. I think you should call BS direct.

The nano sim is attached together, but I'm not using the new nanosim since I already using one.

Is it a must to change to new sim? or I just don't bother it?
*
Yeah.. like me too. Have been using the same nanosim since Iphone 5. If you are on the nano sim already then no need to change to the new one. Can keep it for spare in the future as Maxis charges Rm10 for replacements. tongue.gif
