QUOTE(netbeans @ Nov 20 2014, 09:52 AM) Relax. The billing team needs to update your contract details into their system. Should be glad you got your phone already.QUOTE(attw @ Nov 20 2014, 10:37 AM) The worse part is maxis branches will not take any reservations or start any kind of waiting list, and they don't even let us know which branch has what models available (DiGi's website shows that info, though I dunno how accurate or updated it is). And then there are some of their Exclusive Partners who have stock but insists for new registration only. Totally BS. No stocks even for preordered customers, want to make list to make others angrier at them? |

QUOTE(belfong @ Nov 22 2014, 12:26 AM) I don't think they reserved specifically for my companies. Probably just for any corporate accounts. I'm just a small-bie in my company. I'm just using iValue 1, not some big spender. But yeah, seriously lucky today. I'm still in disbelief. I suspect these are stock they keep for the big spenders or Datuk/Datin that walk in. Thats what I meant as they will give priority to 'business' lines as each company maintains all the lines in their company with that telco to enjoy certain benefit and discounts. It could be from a few lines to a few hundredlines which Im sureTelcos will want to service maintain these accounts. |

QUOTE(gengstapo @ Nov 22 2014, 09:30 AM) You have to try your luck walking in lar bro. QUOTE(mugenz @ Nov 22 2014, 09:57 AM) Maxis corporate minded, anyone that walks in and wanna buy they will sell if they have the stock. They could easily maintain a corporate line with 100 lines vs a normal consumer line of one? Which one do you think they would prefer? Business talks man. Regardless of corp account, big shot, small fly or big crocodile. |

The calculations are simple. No matter how you put it, getting a phone from Telco is confirmed going to be cheaper as they subsidize your purchase in return for your commitment or Contract to the Telco's line. The idea is that since you will be using the data and call packages, might as well commit to them and get your phone at a cheaper price.
On the other hand, some people do not wish to be tied up to Telco contracts as you would not be able to port out to another Telco if you are unhappy with their services and packages. While you still have the option to terminate your existing contract with the said telco, you will have to pay heavy penalties to get out your contract. Do bear in mind, not only you cant terminate your contract earlier, you cannot even "downgrade" your plans. Let say you are on a rm 100/month comittment plan, you can go to a cheaper plan. Some telcos are smart in signing you up for a 2 year old plan and for me, that would be too long. So choose wisely, based on your needs and requirements and select the best deal there is for your ownself. |

QUOTE(KLCC305 @ Nov 26 2014, 10:33 AM) Yes mine is 6+ 64GB silver; u are better than me. I received the device on 18/11, when used on 19/11 signal lost for a while till I power on off it back to normal. The next day it was totally lost even power on off also can't work. Sent back to Maxis on 21/11. Till now yet to receive my device back A lot of Iphone 6 and 6Plus facing network drop issues. It is quite certain the problem is with the build in antenna. This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Nov 26 2014, 06:08 PM |
