For investment purpose, it is ok to wait. There should be "dead chicken" but do not expect to be a lot. Need a lot of patient to find.

For investment, it is depend on what you want.

Highrise = rental income
Landed = longer term capital appreciation

But for landed, not easy to get enough 'rental income' to cover your installment. Therefore you must have enough holding power on this type of investment.

If really market turn bad, why not consider to invest in Share market to collect your "bullet"..... just my 2 cents.

Read a news highlight by property guru that "The best time to buy a property is when everybody scare". I suppose this is true even for the share investment.

Compare to property, share having more liquidity compare to property. cool2.gif

I suppose 12 month is a very good figure. Even with very bad market, don't expect you to totally loss all your income tongue.gif But this will depend on the type of risk taker you are.

Property is definitely more 'safe' compare to share market. However the liquidity for property is not there. I suppose standard if you want to sell one property, it will normally take 3-6 months (this not including the time you look for a buyer).

I convert my liquidity by using full flexi loan biggrin.gif

Nothing is guarantee in investment. If you had enough holding power, no worry for the bad market condition. In any market condition, there are always chances for profit.

My sifu told me you must be able to have your property earn money for you and not become a burden to you. That mean your rental income must be more than installment. This way you may end up richer by investing property.

Anyway I never follow his advice but choose to enjoy my life tongue.gif

If you invite wang li hong, but give me a house with a lot of defect, a lot of problem.. i won't want, unless wang li hong stay in my house for a month.. then diff la.. but in this case i prefer Jolin.. cos wang li hong will only benefited my wife...

Agreed. I do hope the fencing of Phase 1 will be up very soon. As for the link to BSP, heard it will be ready only in 2016. Still long way to go.

The WOW event will attract more people to come but not necessary better environment for the house owner / purchaser. If they can ready the infrastructure on time or even early will be bigger WOW for us.

Phase 1 still got few unit.... end lot / corner only.
Phase 2 bumi lot only available. Unless you want to wait for next bumi release
Phase 3B & 4 should have quite a lot balance.

Johan Setia do give some trouble..... it is up to the authorities to take action. With regarding the haze from Indonesia, still need cooperation from the Indonesia side.

Air pollution is everywhere, just see how the authorities handle it. blush.gif

Good location always come with high price tag. In fact KV not much big size prime location already. Landed price tag sure will surge again.

Wah... so serious. In fact I go to Rimbayu only in July 2014. The first time I went, basic infrastructure already there. Even though I know Rimbayu quite long, since their first launching 2013. I never got the 'mood' to go and see look seek look. LOL.

The first time I go, using the main access road to Rimbayu township, quite a pleasant trip. 2nd trip to pay my down payment, main access is block due to upgrade. I had to follow all side road to go in, only I realize that there are so many small developer alone the way (but I suppose mostly is Malay reserve).

One Phase 1-4 people start move in, I suppose there will be a sudden boom to the Canal City area. By that time, TA & ES will be almost ready as well.
