I'm going to say something very controversial here. I think today's huge drop isn't just about oil. It's also a response by investors against the fairly extremist stuff that was said during the recent UMNO general meeting.

You got to look at the USD/MYR factor also.

The ringgit is getting weaker and weaker....

One issue to look at is from Foreign Fund's perspective...

If the fund origin 'currency' is say USD...
the weakening ringgit is so negative for the fund 'investing'/trading in our market.....

Few years back, I always see a new Petronas station open up here and there.....

erm...PCHEM can invest?...price from 5.60 to 4.97..then now 5.07 back....2 weeks ago...it also have the same drastic drop..but only drop until 5.30-5.40..
