CSL also announced dividends before. and your point is?

if you like china stocks, go ahead, no one stop you from buying them.

but the point being, we tend to avoid red chips period
*
Exactly! China stocks like CSL also paid dividends before... said to have millions and millions of cash.... look at it now....

Wah you not so gullible one ah?

Bank and cash Balance in China is VERY easy to be faked, even the bank managers can help out with some 'fees'.

Here is some of the ways they can fool the auditors.. this one is a 'confession' from a singapore listed china company which went bust..
Full article here..

http://www.martinlee.sg/confession-of-an-s-chip-ceo/

More here.. one of the BIG 4 of audit was fooled..after 7 years of audit..
More info how these companies fake cash and account balance

How difficult is to smell something smelly? tongue.gif

Xingquan last profit report showed around RM 660 million cash.
That's about 1.95 cash per share.

In terms of undervalue, think market capital.
Market capital = what's the company worth if it's sold at last traded stock price.

XQ market capital is 145 million based on last traded stock price of 43 sen.

Yes, it only takes 145 million ringgit to buy all of XQ.

In return, in terms of cash alone, you get a company which is having 660 million in the bank!

( yeah this year the paying 2 sen? LOL! so much money and pay only 2 sen? the previous year no pay! LOL! )

Damn cow cow good deal yes?

Where to find?

If you are the CEO, would you be aware of this fact?

Or if you are one of the BOD, you should be aware of this fact yes?

user posted image

That's the BOD...

Look at the shareholdings....

see the size of shares the CEO holds..... doh.gif

user posted image

doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

The damn obvious question is of the company is really worth so much and have so many millions of cash in hand....
why aren't they buying more shares? why are they hardly holding any shares?

why?

is the cash there or is it not there?

Another trick question.... LOL!

Since company have so many cash, why did it pass a resolution to issue shares (ie raise shares) at their AGM ??

i see, thanks for the explanation. shall learn it when i'm free...
Lilins 'can' be useful .... but to get the best of it, it's best you use it as a combination with other indicators.

For example, some would use lilins along with bollinger bands.

And for Homer example, the bands 'appeared' to begin to expand as of previous day close.

Many lilin traders are taught to WFC. (wait for conformation)
Some don't.
They do not want to react only when the 'crowd' reacts....
They want to react first.
And in Homer's case, those who reacted with the crowd and sold out late Wednesday trade, they would have missed out today's actions.
Yes, and in most trading systems, there are pro and cons...
and yes, there is no perfection......

heehee: The previous comparison on 31 Oct - you probably need to put the 'news' into context too.
That day, Homer was going to announce its profits.
It was higher all day till late afternoon.
LOL!
As usual, the inside got wind of not so geng results.
Hence, sellers came out strong and push the stock down.

i see, thanks to both of you for teaching me... will continue to learn more... i don't have specific strategy in buying or exiting. i'm more like a FA guy. hehe...
aiyooo.... don't say until like this...
me just sharing only...

Anyway it doesn't matter la....
Do what you are good at....
and know exactly where your weakness is.......

I am trader but I believe knowing real fundamentals about a company is important.

nola, we all know you are one of the many sifus here, credit must be given where it is due.
but i think that i also need learn when to enter and exit on a fundamentally good company.
that's my weakness.

i always tend to catch a falling knife, quite painful 1 la.
*
Buying correctly makes selling easy.

Falling knifes?
Yeah..sometimes it's not as easy...
I seen many tell themselves...
Not to chase the falling stocks....
Then....
They easily succumb to the idea that the 'key to make money is to buy cheap stocks'....
They then hear the extremely abused Buffett phrase 'Be greedy when others are fearful'.....
LOL...rest is history......

Agree... but the discount is just too wide.  rclxms.gif

The recent weakness is due to In*ri declared rights issue ex 22/01

this will swiftly followed by &a&... in a few days.
*
.....but those rights issue makes not much sense.

Indonesia not easy to afford housing loan.. only super-rich can afford housing loan, even some rich people pay properties in cash..  sweat.gif

Current loan conditions is 10 years max (usually give 5 years only), max 70% LTV (common is 50% LTV), min down payment 30% (Common is 50%), annual interest rate is 14.5-16.5% p.a.

This sector is definitely a growth sector..in the future when the loan conditions is more matured.
*
.... but it is just not showing in CIMB numbers.

numbers not so geng looking.
