If you want to be good in investment, you need to know how to dig for info.

Mine is all from the help of Google.

Then after getting the info , you need to make judgement...

It's doable and with good people like Gark around...you should do ok.

Do your own homework then compare your notes with him.

I am just a trader, so my analytical skills not as deep.

Don't rush your investments...

Yes, in case you are new in the market, there ALWAYS exist fundamentally good company which are laggards (ie LOUSY)...
they just don't perform as good as a stock, unloved despite their potential.

Some lousy companies do make a 'good' stock.

Salcon?

That's one lousy company.

Over the years, what has Salcon really done?

Nothing!

At one time, it was getting JVs after JVs in the water concession or was it water sewerage business in China.
Then it sold it off....

It was also in the construction business....

and also in the property business - yeah one ex-SP Setia bossie joined....

and then recently... got fibre optic business joint venture also.... (paying 20+ million for a 50% JV.... )

so many business I also blur blur.......

blur until I also dunno why they recorded 4 quarters of PBT losses...... (what down channel ?)


Would I get excited about Langat 2? (another JV? )

And Langat 2 is not exactly new news...... (April 2014 already got news....)
