Happy Labour Day to all.
woke up n see dows -200 n thought my eye are not proper!
maybe most analysts are right, May could be a month of high volatility as we see the 'preview' last night.
As Avfan said, nasi lemak is ready here in my small pocket for colleting

Sell in May and go away? It's a little more complicated than that.

We asked our partners at Kensho to look at the last 20 years of May to October trading, as well as November to April.

From the May to October period, the S&P 500 was positive 65 percent of the time, or 13 of 20 occurrences, for an average return of 1.4 percent.

For the November to April period, the S&P 500 was up 85 percent of the time, or 17 of 20 occurrences, for an average return of 7.1 percent.

What are your thoughts about US energy funds? I have been undecided about the bottom and worried that I missed it because climbing again. Buy in May no matter what? (Please, no lectures about timing and emotions. I'm all that.)

Hi guys,

Just a quick question: which online broker do you suggest for US stocks trading?

I was trying to open an account with Sogotrade but they declined my application due to the reason below (which is really sad!):

QUOTE
We regret to inform you that we will have to decline your account application because in order to be compliant with all Federal US Department of the Treasury and securities industry Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, SogoTrade is not capable of maintaining accounts in certain countries or for their citizens. Unfortunately, MALAYSIA is one of them.
