QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 3 2014, 10:10 PM) cos mike ashley knows keeping pardew better than hiring another mid table manager... Sorry to be sticking at Newcastle fans (I know a few) they know the are mid table club. They are realist, "so keeping pardew saves mike ashley a payout that will hurt that greedy c**t " unquote a Irish Newcastle fanactually the ppl that have managed newcastle reads like some all-stars list |

QUOTE(jacckl @ Nov 3 2014, 05:39 PM) you cant spend over $100m, play like crap and expect no criticism. mu had lower points than liverpool, spend similar amount of $$$ yet there aren't that many fans criticise him. unless br lower his pride and make changes, anti-br will emerge soon. League position of MU may identical to Liv situation, but their performance is far far better what Liv has shown and seems on the rise path, while Liv is like at spiralling down direction. QUOTE(koolspyda @ Nov 3 2014, 05:52 PM) well you said there is. I haven't seen it, I'm just asking who is calling for BR's head now. Thats all. This the red statement is the sentiment that many fell disappointed about current Liv team, not just result issue alone. The criticism melted is for some sense in BR's tactical prowess (or lack of it), thats all http://www.teamtalk.com/features/16129/954...s-not-Balotelli I don't see any of us are seemingly with glowing tits in anger & calling for his head as you put it. The team is not just winning but even in games against teams that are 100 million poorer in players (in squad transfer or probably even actual teams squads talent depth) we are dishing far far abysmal performance. Lets not even begin with against top teams wth happen to liverpoolfc? it surely isn't because of sale of suarez, we played a good 6 or more games last season without the talisman & we were flying. We have sturridge in the begining of the season and beside the spurs games Liverpool is playing a team equal to relegation teams. uninspired, lack of confidence, no headway. Next week if loss to Chelsea (something highly expected based on current performance) and other midtable team get point/points, we may see Liv league position down to 15th, before international break. In other word, near to relegation zone which similar to what happened when BR first come in. |

Didi you legend I hardly see him starting, lallana too Rodgers if you want to unleash these płayers, you might have to do it quick to address the slide. Many links have reported that shd this slump continues, we are looking at 7-10place by end of season. You know that's not where we want to be. We are not Newcastle (sorry fans of stripes) a life long Newcastle fan told me so 😬 Newcastle = shoved fans by keeping them there |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 3 2014, 11:13 PM) It seems likely for 3rd time.Houllier finished 2nd with 80+ points, season after, form slumped drastically, then manager gone. Rafa finished 2nd with 80+ points, season after that, form slumped, the sack. BR, finished 2nd with 80+ points last season, form slumped, The difference is money is not available for Houllier & Rafa to spent as big as BR after finished second. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Nov 4 2014, 08:59 AM) It seems likely for 3rd time. Most older Kopites are aware of that. Houllier finished 2nd with 80+ points, season after, form slumped drastically, then manager gone. Rafa finished 2nd with 80+ points, season after that, form slumped, the sack. BR, finished 2nd with 80+ points last season, form slumped, The difference is money is not available for Houllier & Rafa to spent as big as BR after finished second. However, in the heads of many Gerrard houllier = boring liverpool rafa Benitez = boring football Brendan Rodgers = exciting attacking football even If the games this season has largely been uninspired and akin more to struggling teams, critics will say we can't play diamond (properly) because the best english striker is injured. As long as we don't be bottom half of the league at end season, I think rodgers role is safe. I shd think the board will let him spend to reinforce abit prudently And stop going for tier 3-4 kind of players. Come on brendan |

Even thou i dont like what i'm seeing rite now, i just dont think this is a good time to loose a manager. Unless there is a top top manager out there who is willing to take the job. Even so there is no guarantee of immediate changes or success. Impact on players is huge. New ideas will be implemented. Both parties need time to adapt. We will be starting all over again. Certain players will be offloaded and more money need to be spent in transfer. After been tru this cycle so many times, the fan patience has reach its limit. We are desperate for success... Or at least to see our team as a strong competitor.. So please BR, 3 years in charge, ur experimental period is long over. Its time to deliver results of all those extravaganza football philosophy that u keep saying in infinite loop... Just one thing i cant quite understand is why the heck did u sell Carroll n bought two Carroll-type of players? One is a lazier, lack of diciplines n workrate, another is an older version with no pace and stamina to chase the ball....

Plan bLast year brendan says there is no plan b kind of football in liverpool, critics added well that's why we can't break down certain teams, hence perhaps why we missed the title So I wouldn't give Rodger much stick on lambert. He is 4th in pecking order, plan B, affordable and a scouser. |

A plan B.. Means he's not that stubborn after all. But the way i see it, its not a plan B but a whole new plan A. This time not only certain teams but we cant seems to break down almost every team... Before, the game plan is simple.. keep passing the ball to Suarez and he'll do the rest. Now players lost their target and become clueless on what to do next in the final third... So without Suarez, we are not just loosing one player, but the most crucial element that make the system works... it is like replacing a missing piece of jigsaw puzzle with something that doesnt fit. But maybe I'm wrong, time will tell.. Hopefully so....

its not his plan thats failing to break teams down, nor is it supposedly other teams figuring out his plan.
afterall, a good team will just play however they like...like how many variations of a tactic can there be? it still comes down to individual skills, mentality etc etc...just like most past great teams there ever was. so even if opposing teams can know how a team is gonna play, doesnt mean they can do anything about it... |
