sifu.. can u guide me the process ah?
so now is cut limit first or re-apply first?
*
maybe do these...

1) since already rejected once, tell CS that you want to appeal and agree to split Credit Limit from m2cards. See if that's possible.

2) else, try to reapply at Gardens or KLCC (i applied here, the staff is very helpful). immediately request to split Credit Limit for Ikhwan's application. fill up form and they'll print out your EPF statement too (please bring your NRIC! biggrin.gif)

3) wait for approval SMS or new card entry in M2U. If nothing happen in 3-5 days, call CS to verify application status. if rejected again, i guess the rejection reason would be other factors.

u mentioned before that you'll be losing cashback for 6 months if couldnt get Ikhwan card. what's your spending? petrol or grocery?

perhaps try UOB One card, if Ikhwan's 2nd application failed.

Thanks.

Means Wednesday I must buy for Thursday's show d.

The buy 1 free 1 does not apply to luxe right?

So in the end, I think I use my Cimb get 5% online CB saje la adoi.

Quite impossible for me to go to counter and purchase.
*
that's why for cinema, either cimb cr or rhb evo would be nice, can cover both counter/online purchase. but rhb evo is limited to entertainment-related transactions. cimb cr has wider coverage for online transactions, however uob vox can cover both cinema & unifi. dilemma blush.gif

RHB I can get but surely would be a waste since it would be under utilized.

Gonna stick to Cimb CR Plat ba.
By default my Ikhwan is set to MYR 1.00 transactional alert.
*
after ikhwan (to replace m2c visa and complement m2c amex), no rush to get other cards. i've alreayd overpaid my unifi for coming 6 months. got ample of time to wait-n-see biggrin.gif

who knows, maybe new cards kambing.

already read in this forum when auto reload it take RM2 as fee.... cry.gif

Zing has its niche benefits, but most of us here are trying to maximize tng with zero reload, and also getting cashback from using credit cards biggrin.gif

Hi. Regarding with this part :

4.Umrah Trip. One weekly Umrah winner (package for 2pax) will be selected to win an Umrah package (for Muslims) or holiday package (for non-Musilms) - non exchangeable / transferable. Every RM200 retail spending in one single receipt entitle for 1x entry. Campaign starts 1st August 2014 and ongoing.

Today, I received a call from Maybank mention that I'm one of the winner for the umrah package. I'm quite spectical when received call from any bank. You know people get scam just over the phone. I do not know how to feel happy or what  sweat.gif

Seriously this is unbelievable  shakehead.gif  shocking.gif

Yes she asked this question :

This statement is True of False.. That all..

Just noticed that my Islamic account indicated this "Account is not authorized".  hmm.gif

Is it because there is no any transaction yet ?
*
nah, that's normal. currntly account is "offline", usually for acct maintenance/refresh.

try checking it later tomorrow morning. should be fine.

Just drop at the MBB Card Centre Gardens to apply Ikhwan. The advisor told me its a new application, even I already have MBB 2Cards, hence I need to submit my pay slip. Is it true?
*
depends on branch.

I applied at KLCC without providing any docs. just printed epf statement using mykad, fill up form, that's it. sales agent even advised to split CL from m2card amex , which I gladly agreed biggrin.gif

interesting. any other bills accepted?

to check if eligible for "grocery" cashback, call customer service and ask if your last transaction at Sam's Groceria (dont say u pay bills) is eligible or not.

yeah, cuz Sam's using ePay services. accepts a lot of bill payees.

what surprises is they accept cc for ePay transactions! going to research this tongue.gif if Unifi accepted (or anything under TM), that'd be awesome.

Yes. Just trying my luck just now hopefully I will get cb and SAM won't stop accepting the cc payment. Too.bad, tnb bill is anot ccepted there.
*
TM and Astro, two of the more expensive bills to pay laugh.gif Sam accepting cc is definitely a bonus. thumbup.gif

btw, how did you pay the bills?

1) bring the hardcopy bill statement?
2) they need to scan the barcode printed on the statement, issit?
3) wonder if we can pay x-amount, e.g. RM300 one-shot, instead of bill amount? hmm.gif

They took the hard copy bill from me and key in the account number. I also wonder why they didn't scan it, might be most of the cashier are foreign workers.
*
if they manually key-in account number, even better. very likely can ask to pay x-amount as well, say RM100, RM300, RM500, etc, instead of bill amount.

been chatting with Sam's Groceria rep over FB about utility bill payment there...

1) Sam's accepts payment for Celcom, U Mobile, RedTone, Astro, and TM only.

2) About TM, Sam's have been accepting all TM bills, as long as the server is linked.

3) About TNB, right now Sam's have facing technical glitch with TNB billing system and as such, cannot accept this bill for payment. Only when TNB sort it, then they are good to go.

Update 20151023: Finally accepting TNB bill payment, verified at Encorp Strand Mall and Nu Sentral.

4) Sam's accepts payment using Credit Cards and Touch 'n Go cards.

5) About bringing hardcopy bill statement, NOT required. You can show the eBill and do ensure the account number is correct before you make the payment.

6) No service charge/fee for paying bills

7) You can collect member points as long as you present your member card before the payment.

SO, all the bills paid fall under groceries?  blink.gif
*
the only benefit of cashback tracking via MCC (aka loophole). brows.gif

e.g. reload Touch 'n Go at Sam's Groceria is under Grocery category. what's been interesting so far is Sam's also offering bill payment too, hence should falls under Grocery category as well.

Note: MCC is a one-time assignment to the cc terminals, not according to your purchase items. what we hope is these grocer outlets offers more misc services to the customers, hence indirectly we can take advantage of credit card's MCC tracking too. thumbup.gif
