cybpsych, have you obtained the answer to this question?

____

On a side note, has anyone purchased moon cakes, using Ikhwan card, in event area in Aeon? This is considered as a grocery transaction, right?
*
didnt ask specifically but should be able to, cuz they accept bills which are rarely round number. method same as reloading TnG, just specify a prefixed amount u want to reload/pay.

i'll try next weeked after my HLB Wise's bill statement is out (dont wanna incur so much outstanding).

wanna POC paying Unifi at Sam's using Wise biggrin.gif if my Unifi account captured the payment, then all set!

Gardens? I reported about this on this thread last week.
I went and asked last Saturday and cannot straight request to split limit.
Need to go through stage by stage, only if Ikhwan is rejected then can request to split.
Not sure about Watson but Tesco cannot.
*
Watson's VIP member card can earn points when reloading TnG using cash.

this was back in May 2014 when Watson's offers 5% rebate for RM100 topup (pay RM95 for RM100 TNG credit).

May I know what's with the "set SMS alert to RM1" for? Notify every transactions via SMS with RM1 surcharge?  blink.gif
*
NOT rm1 surcharge lah.

whenever you transacted amount RM1 and above, you receive an SMS telling you the activities occurred to your card.

better set.

call CS to set it to RM1. it's good to be notified for every single transactions went thru your card.\

like eddievh said, good to catch fraud transactions, especially those low amount.

Why my Payment due date & Statement date in m2u still showing "N/A" till now?  hmm.gif
Already swipe 2 times with the card for petrol and Mydin with total outstanding RM100++.
*
ur card got approved late Aug, right?

how many bills you've gotten since approval?

the PDD and Statement Date only reflected upon bill date. do you know your bill date?

been chatting with Sam's Groceria rep over FB about utility bill payment there...

1) Sam's accepts payment for Celcom, U Mobile, RedTone, Astro, and TM only.

2) About TM, Sam's have been accepting all TM bills, as long as the server is linked.

3) About TNB, right now Sam's have facing technical glitch with TNB billing system and as such, cannot accept this bill for payment. Only when TNB sort it, then they are good to go.

4) Sam's accepts payment using Credit Cards and Touch 'n Go cards.

5) About bringing hardcopy bill statement, NOT required. You can show the eBill and do ensure the account number is correct before you make the payment.

6) No service charge/fee for paying bills

7) You can collect member points as long as you present your member card before the payment.

My card is approved on 3rd and activated on 8th Sept

When can I expect my 1st statement? I ask coz M2U show my payment due is 23rd Sept. Which sounds abit wrong.
*
if you can see the payment due date = 23 Sep, then you can see your bill statement date also right? <-- i guess it will be 3 Sep.

yea.. but the statement didnt come out yet obviously coz 3rd Sept is the day the card was approved. So if I use the card before 23rd Sept, do i have to settle the payment before 23rd Sept or should I wait for the actual statement to come out first?
*
whatever that you spent, it's captured by statement date, and this amount is called statement balance (in m2u).

same like other cards, the payment due date (PDD) is just a grace period for you to settle the statement balance.

in your case, your 1st statement on 3-Sep is has basically empty transactions, so there's nothing to worry biggrin.gif

if you always settle the statement on time, before PDD, then your next PDD is statement date + 20 days (e.g. 3/10 statement, due on 23/10). thumbup.gif

My First statement for this card. Din know that the cash back will only be credited on the following month and not on the same month. Transaction on 04 Sept,  no cash back receive. Call CS, they say will only be credited on Oct statement.
Another thing I'm not aware,  no treats points for those Friday and Saturday transactions.
Not so good of a credit card after all.
*
isnt this the same as m2card amex?

spending in the month, only get the cb on 1st/2nd of next month. technically it's still within the spending month because cb cutoff is end of the month.

just wondering, how do you expect the cb to be given? Sep has not ended but you're expecting the cb to be given immediately?

Erm.. Maybe I'm too used to the previous ocbc titanium CB. Cut off date is the statement date..
My bad for missing the T&C when applying for this. :/
*
no worries la, others are adjusting to new cards too biggrin.gif

just spend as normal on Fri/Sun for your Groceries and Petrol.

compared to HLB Wise and CIMB CR, the cb is really next month on the 28th blush.gif not an issue if you constantly using the card.

hi, yesterday applied and get my card approved at the gardens card centre. have a few question to ask to fellow friends :

1. did read that someone said that gold card is better that platinum card. why is that yea?
2. besides petrol and normal groceries, how else can i fully utilise this card? any item bought at groceries store, is entitles for 5% cb is it?
*
1) aesthetic punya pasal. gold color + islamic motif looks nice. but i like platinum's silver motif.

2) still based on MCC registered by the cc terminal, not nature of business. by right, it should be the nature of business that define the MCC (during registration), but nowadays many merchants serves multiple business type.

Wow, that's great!

Hope I can get the card before this weekend. Just received the sms yesterday evening.

Btw, once I get the card, just hit the 'activate' button on M2U, then the card can use, right?
*
you can also call CS to activate.

other reasons to make the call:

1) change your bill date, if you want.
2) set the SMS notification threshold to RM1
