QUOTE(zcs @ Aug 1 2015, 09:47 AM) Was at 1U Maybank Card Center to enquire about this card. Need documents like payslips for splitting credit limit from existing M2C. Gardens no need documents to split limit. What surprise me is that Maybank may terminate the card at any point of time if they find out if there's any transaction with non-halal item (e.g. beer purchases in Cold Storage), even if the transaction gone through for quite some time already. Need to reconsider whether to apply for this.. And yeah, Islamic card are like that. But was told that it's more for pubs, clubs and gambling which are the ones that would probably get you in trouble with cancellation. |

QUOTE(xbotzz @ Aug 5 2015, 11:35 AM) Just got the ikhwan mastercard from gardens... First got call card ready.. 2 days later saw the card pop up in m2u.. Today collected it.. At least it looks much better compared to M2C Looks nicer or maybe I'm so bored with my m2card design.. Since I convert.. I had to return old m2cards to CS.. They will transfer the rebates and TP to the ikhwan card in a week... They will help you destroy the card. Or if you want, ask for the scissors yourself and do the honors. QUOTE(Alec.Yong @ Aug 5 2015, 11:36 AM) Just for survey.. See how much is the maximum one hold.. Depends. Sometimes can get separate CL.Once got Ikhwan, the MBB CL will be deducted right? But maybank is already losing plenty of customers with the revision of Amex weekend CB. UOB now is taking years to apply / approve for a CC. |

(i read someone mention in in earlier thread but couldnt find it) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Easiest way to apply is to convert your existing card Almost 100% approval rate. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 5 2015, 02:22 PM) Can I do conversion by calling the number? Boleh saje.I guess I'm going to make a bold decision soon once my VOX is confirmed rejected. I will cancel most of my cards and convert my MBB2Cards to Ikhwan. The rest of the expenses will charge to Ikhwan first while applying for Watami. Then, I will only have Ikhwan, Watami, MACH, AmBank Plat and Aeon Gold. Case close. You need to sign the electronic form, email it to the card center. Then call the hotline/General line also can and say you want to convert. Ask them to proceed on an urgent basis. 3 days later, wala.... Your cards are ready for collection.. But Ikhwan is completely different from your VOX category wor? 1 for online spending, another for petrol/groceries/TP? |

QUOTE(DM3 @ Aug 5 2015, 03:16 PM) The rebate of 88 per month x 12 is more than AF of 500, no? Besides, if you use the card for your family and etc spending, easily hit 50k. I usually use the card on behalf of my family groceries purchases and etc. Can help them buy and meet spending requirement straight. |

QUOTE(DM3 @ Aug 5 2015, 03:42 PM) Again, some might view it differently. As for me, I can hit the 50k target with ease. So it's beneficial for me. For others that can't hit the 50k waiver limit, then they should not hold this card unless they are willing to pay for AF. |

QUOTE(jensen87 @ Aug 6 2015, 12:41 AM) i am applying at the card centre.. 1u.. I think it's been mentioned that the one in Gardens are much more willing to reduce your limit and apply an Ikhwan for you.but i still wanna keep the amex card >< if reduce the limit/transfer the limit can be done? cause i call the CS told me not possible to do so wor.. And tell the CS to go back and do his homework. Plenty of case where it's approved when customer asked for split limit. QUOTE(huatken @ Aug 6 2015, 12:54 AM) I was told the same at 1U. The person I spoke to explained that the Islamic credit cards fall under a different business entity, so I would need to apply fresh with supporting documents. 1. Call the pre approved hotline. Salary must be credited through MBB every month. If this is incorrect, can someone who have successfully applied without needing supporting documentation share how they went about this? 2. Ask for conversion. 3. Put in FD Islamic and conventional are indeed 2 different type of banking entity. |

Just curious.
The buy 1 free 1 promotion with TGV, must I buy it on the spot at tgv on Thursday or could I buy on other day for Thursday to qualify? Furthermore, if I purchased online using MBB's card, can I still get the Buy 1 Free 1 on Thursday? Finally, weekends no more Buy 1 free 1? Thanks to whomever that can clarify. |

QUOTE(Devil4life @ Aug 12 2015, 09:34 AM) Thursday buy 1 free 1 can buy any day as long it's for Thursday show. Thanks.Weekend buy 1 free 1 promo I think is over already ADDED : online no promo, have to buy at counter Means Wednesday I must buy for Thursday's show d. The buy 1 free 1 does not apply to luxe right? So in the end, I think I use my Cimb get 5% online CB saje la adoi. Quite impossible for me to go to counter and purchase. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Aug 12 2015, 09:52 AM) that's why for cinema, either cimb cr or rhb evo would be nice, can cover both counter/online purchase. but rhb evo is limited to entertainment-related transactions. cimb cr has wider coverage for online transactions, however uob vox can cover both cinema & unifi. dilemma RHB I can get but surely would be a waste since it would be under utilized.Gonna stick to Cimb CR Plat ba. QUOTE(cybpsych @ Aug 12 2015, 10:04 AM) By default my Ikhwan is set to MYR 1.00 transactional alert. |
