Damning assessment from jose, about the team's performance vs Shrewsbury. It was quite sloppy and slow at times but perhaps a bit harsh on salah?could've had 2 assists easily,if not for schurrle inexplicably putting Salah's perfect cross for him across goal sweat.gif.

Apart from his wayward shooting in the first half,i think for a bit part player he did quite okay. His lay-off for drogs to finish was perfectly weighted too. Now as for schurrle, I'm running out of excuses for him and i'm not sure why Salah was subbed instead of the german.

Yes it might've been to regain some fitness but it looks like willian is close to becoming one of jose's untouchables, and schurrle won't have anyone but himself to blame. That pinpoint cross which lead to the own goal was hands down willian's most crucial contribution and puts to shame andre's running around without much end product for 90 minutes.

Overall it was a good workout actually, and keeps the players in check, particularly regarding the importance of consistent top quality performances. A 4 or 5 goal trashing might only lead to complacency, and a hard fought match like this is welcome every once in awhile. It's basically an important reminder after the man utd game that there's no such thing as an easy match and the players will have to battle in every game.

A perfect 'introduction' so to speak before the QPR match ,which will be tricky but I can't wait to see costa back in blue to strike fear in their defenders icon_idea.gif

they'll be giving it 200% just like Shrewsbury, so the boys should know what to expect!

If yes then not bad. Terry will not get any younger. Christensen have a huge step if wanna b in first team squad. If Terry hang his boot, we only have Cahill, Zouma and Iva.

Varane would be nice, but iinm, he just signed new contract with Real.

How about Mat Hummels from Dortmund? Dortmund not doing very well in the league. Maybe they wil be in lower half of the table, then players can leave on a cheap. whistling.gif

I dont think Dortmund will let Hummels go so fast, especially when Bayern is lining up for Reus.
BVB has a policy of selling only 1 star per year i think

Should not have loan him there.
kesian kalas.
as for zouma, is too hard not to buy young prospects.

tbh, til now I haven't see Zouma's game. Schrewbury, pre season games that he played all I missed. doh.gif

What type of player he is actually? Something like a Terry (no nonsense)? or Carvalho/Luiz type (ball playing defender)? rclxub.gif

I for one would love to see him in blues. I am already a fan of his since Man Utd days and was really bad luck for him not to make into first XI when they have the likes of Ferdinand, Brown, Vidic. He is similar to Desailly type; organize back 4 like what yokoloco mentioned. Strong and tall physical gives opposition a hard time and slim chance. And having 1 Spanish at one department..? brows.gif It would be a great addition, provided he is home grown, but I doubt the reliability of this news anyways.

Zouma is Kompany or Pepe alike. Sometimes too rough might get him into trouble. If he goes to midfield, it's Gattuso, Keane, De Jong type. Have better picture now? tongue.gif

Yea. Something like our legend Desailly? brows.gif

If he can develop better body strength, I think he can outmuscle strikers. And also Drog might be able to help him in that part in training. whistling.gif

I think the reason rumours on Pique is bcause he is considered as HG.. he did spent 4years at United
would be decent replacement if Terry decides to retire..

Pique has been shaky for few season, maybe Mou can get him to his best again?

*
For Pique, yes. He is similar to Desailly. Well built, tall and strong physical body, can challenge someone with Costa's size. I'd be over the moon if he really sign for Chelsea. blush.gif blush.gif Of course I do not want to upset our finance to cause any disturbance on FPP. If he come cheap, I'll welcome him with open hands. thumbup.gif

As for Terry, though I love him with all my heart, his time would be over by end of the season. Most, I give him 15/16. He is getting slower and slower, it is time for Kalas/ Zouma to step up. Going up against pacey strikers or getting counterattack always scares the shit out of me cause Terry does not have what he had during his younger days. :/ I'd prefer him holding some "advisory" role to nurture the younger generations and give him a director of football or board of directors role upon hanging his boots. brows.gif

tbh, til now I haven't see Zouma's game. Schrewbury, pre season games that he played all I missed. doh.gif

What type of player he is actually? Something like a Terry (no nonsense)? or Carvalho/Luiz type (ball playing defender)? rclxub.gif
*
Hasn't been properly tested, but from what he's exhibited so far,he has a good ground game and (from the looks of it) upper body strength which means it isn't easy for opponents to dribble past him.

However he has to work a lot on his positioning and the timing of his jumps on setpieces and crosses. Zouma has a superb leap on him,but he has a habit of jumping too early and this means although he wins a good number of aerial battles, his headed clearances often don't get enough distance.

Lots of potential, but we need to be patient with this one. I actually agree with you and yinchet, kalas is ahead of him. Of course i'm being slightly biased based on the latter's solid performance vs liverpool at anfield last season against the mercurial suarez thumbup.gif

Well, let's just hope the management's decision to loan him to Cologne is the right 1. Hope Kalas can fight his way to be in the starting 11. flex.gif

Pique? I think he'll prefer Utd over us... I think we can promote one of our youngster if Terry is to step down... Zouma is good... Kalas is promising as well... or worst case, play Iva back in the middle... let's take Betrand as left backup to Luis.... and right back is Dave... problem solved...

cant see any of the players challenge for first xi spot in the next 2, 3 years. some of them dont even have future at chelsea.

christensen, zouma still too raw for me.
piazon future lie elsewhere.
jeremie boga look promising though.

other still super raw and need more playing time. loan to championship clubs would be a god option.

i dont think this will be a radical move, slowly Jose will let go the old players and promote this guys to the first team, i'm not saying straight to starting spot..but maybe as a squad players first..

FFP really push us to use the youth, and the club also pushing the same agenda.

if we let go 2 players and buy 1 promote 1..good enough for me. biggrin.gif

our old players not so old. most of them have 4-5 years left at least. only JT + iva have less than that. JT might go on till 40 years old though.

these youngsters will be 22 - 23 years old by then. wonder if they have the patience to wait.

I think if our youngster play as defender he will have higher chance of climbing the rank. If attacking player, sorry lah, our 1st team attacking all still has plenty of time before hit their peak. Even a rotten Torres also no one from academy can challenge his place last time

Well, imho, I hope Piazon, McEahren and Kalas do superbly in their loan club.

I rate 3 of them highly. But McEahren have not been doing to well for the past few years imho. I really hope both Piazon and Kalas can break into our starting 11. Piazon can play anywhere in the trident and striker position. While Kalas? I see him as the next Iva. flex.gif

Btw is this Musonda gud? I let him leave in my FM2014. lel

In footballing terms, he is Mr Chelsea. No doubt bout that. Find me a modern player that plays from youth until retire in 1 club if u can.

What happens in the football game, stays in the game. Fiery words sure fly during an intense match. U will say things without thinking bout it first. I take it as that. Terry was just unlucky that the camera was shooting right at him when he was saying those words. If u have 22 cameras shooting at each player's face, u will get this type of words coming out from their mouth.

Gerrard? Giggs?
One doesn't have to stay with the club from youth until retirement in order to be considered a club icon IMO. You have Duncan Ferguson, who is undeniable Everton through and through even though he only joined the club when he was 23. Even for Chelsea you have Zola, who's shown he has a special connection with the club.
John Terry though, you realize there's a reason he's the most disliked player in England. Lying about that racism incident, bullying at Chelsea, That Wayne Bridge saga, known as a thug from a family of chavs. Mr. Chelsea? Really?
No matter what excuse one makes for him, one simply cannot deny the past. That's why he's lying low for the past few years. The less heard from him, the better.

The most disliked player in England. Many can argue the player is Ronaldo for getting Rooney sent off with his wink. Suarez was also once the most disliked player for his bite. It's just a matter of opinion even in the topic of who is the most disliked player in England. lel

Same with Everton fans lo. Only they wil think Duncan Ferguson is a legend.

Who will rmb his four convictions for assault - two arising from taxi–rank scuffles, one an altercation with a fisherman in an Anstruther pub and the most infamous: his on–field headbutt on Raith Rovers defender John McStay in 1994 while playing for Rangers, which resulted in a three-month prison sentence. Punching and kicking a fan. shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

Violence is more acceptable probably in a footballing context, compared with cheating on your wife with a team mate's girlfriend while being a racist to fellow professionals and a jerk in general. Take Cantona, for example. I'll say the lot of them acted with more justification and honor than King of Stamford Bridge.
Also realize that Ferguson has been a changed man since he arrived on Merseyside, the only notable incident being that fracas with the burglar in his home. He feels indebted to Everton for having faith in him, and gave his all. In return, we appreciate his loyalty and contribution on the pitch a great deal.
But then I wouldn't blame you for feeling obliged to support that sorry excuse for a human, you confuse your team allegiance with having to stick with players regardless the cause. Much like Liverpool did with Luis. You realize you can't blame Liverpool for defending him for that bite now, as that would make you a hypocrite.

Punching and kicking a fan.  shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif

Only an Everton fan will brand him as a legend.  laugh.gif

QUOTE(itekderp @ Nov 1 2014, 01:46 AM)
Violence is more acceptable probably in a footballing context, compared with cheating on your wife with a team mate's girlfriend while being a racist to fellow professionals and a jerk in general. Take Cantona, for example. I'll say the lot of them acted with more justification and honor than King of Stamford Bridge.

It is a man's game after all. Honor and passion plays a big part.
You don't have to reply with pretend sarcasm, you're a very confused man indeed. I think you belong in the Dennis Wise era more, at least the chavs back then would appreciate your "loyalty".

I think you'd find Wimbledon more apt. The good ol' days, Selhurst Park was the worst place to go.
Oh well, anything really.

Lol, you spotted it.
If he's Mr. Chelsea for you lot then sure, by all means. Just show what's in that mind of yours really.
It's not "going against the flow" or whatever, but I'm sure there are a lot more players more merited to have that title instead of just giving it to the one who graduated from the academy or whatever. If that's how you like to count loyalty, then fine. So desperate to have a true homegrown be a hero, we know how it is with your "homegrown" stars don't we?

It also show you how shallow you are, and how your mind are too soft and easily influenced by the media.

How can a guy cleared in the civil court was convicted by FA?

How can a few players told the same things about the racism, and yet you just talk about him?

He is not just about HG or academy, he is our captain, the most successful captain, the player that get the recognition in the world stage, european stage, world class managers and by chelsea's former player.

If you just read the papers and internet, without actually know anything about the truth and reality in the club culture.

You are in no place, whatsoever to made that claim.

well we claim Zola as our Hero, Drogba as our Hero, so there is no point or basis for your arguments that we in desperate need of our HG Hero.

You sir, just nip pick and too biased to even give a fair assessment to the case.

More like you're biased, why do you keep quiet about the Wayne Bridge fiasco? Should have dragged Giggs in. brows.gif
I'm talking about him because you claim him as Mr. Chelsea. He's more than not guilty in those accusations, it's not about the media even. Ask Rio, Ask Wayne. Why do they have the views they have, claimed what they claimed? Other players are racist, but you don't see them bandied about as heroes or Mr. Whatever Club.
I'm just saying, it's quite a conundrum really. Chelsea fans would see Terry as a legend and probably "Mr. Chelsea" considering he's the most successful captain the club has ever had. But such a stigmatized presence. I have a feeling some of you would blindly wave your flags for Hitler if he's achieved the same for Chelsea.
Mourinho is Mr. Chelsea IMO. But I'm no Chelsea fan, thank God for that. You poor buggers.

Sigh, fine. I'll leave you lot with this.
You new generation of "fans", always trying to outdo the other with your badge-kissing, never accepting a bad word about your team or any players in it. So you're all no.1 fans, what does that prove? Just stick to your own kind then, you can hug each other every week telling each other how great your team is and w***ing each other, pretend you're born on the pitch or whatever. I'll take banter and proper discussion with more mature fans anyday.
Sikit-sikit b***hurt/dupe/keluar/bodoh. Oh well. Kids will be kids.

Looking at how Liverpool were playing, it's so different compare to last year's SnS attacking combo. Defense wise as well, a bit shaky. Newcastle is doing pretty good, winning against Man City during the week, and now against Liverpool. We might have a good chance getting a result next week.

King Drog in for Willian. With Costa and Drog, v nid more width. But only Hazard is providing it now.

Post 1st for future quote.

And King Drog to the rescue with a spectacular goal!

Game end. 2-1 win for us. Shaky defend. But luckily we had the penalty to get us the win. Defend was ok actually. The goal conceded cant blame Courtois. Ball deflected and change path. He could not do much.

What to do. Mou's first season (04/05) here last time gave us the honor of being the club with fewest goals against in a Premier League season (15), most clean sheets kept in a season (25). So Chelsea will forever be remembered for their good defending.

But what they duno is that in that season itself, we also break other records like most wins in a season (29), most consecutive away wins (9), and the most points in a season (95). whistling.gif

It's just stereotype, ppl will just stereotype Chelsea as a London bus even if v play beautifully. lel

So for the Maribor game....Costa to be rested, Zouma, Salah, Schurrle, Drogba, Ramires to feature?

Nid to rest some players for Pool.

Btw against Liverpool Azpi back from suspension. Interested to see will Mou stick wif Luis or go back to Azpi. Luis is doing not bad imho, but not enuff to dislodge Azpi in the starting 11. Luis more attacking, Azpi better in terms of defending. hmm.gif

Who will u guys pick for LB against Pool?

Yea. Tbh, his body is more well built compared to Luis. Luis too skinny la. laugh.gif Bertrand really shud be given a chance in LB after Cole's departure.

But knowing Chelsea and Mou, they prefer ready made players. So Luis was signed. shakehead.gif

Is it because there are some fatigueness starting to kick in?
Yes u can argue it is just 10 games but considering it is a world cup season it is very hard to tell the freshness. Some of the players are almost 20 games alrd (intnl, cupgames) this season

After some below pars performance by oscar, i think he is by far the most improving player..which is might be due to some times on the bench early in d season.

I dunno when but we need to start rotate the squad more and more now. I personally dun like rotation and mou as we know is never a fan of this.

After vs strawberry, maybe against maribor too?

Away game, expect tough advantage for them

My 11 for maribor (as we need rotation)

Cek
azpi iva zoma luis
matic rami
Surle cesc hazat
drog / costa

I personally prefer ake to get another 90m for matic but donwan to underestimate maribor. It is just that during the game at bridge we manage to kill d game early.

yesterday internet fail me cannot stream at all.
Anyway after watching back the games; i think we did okay though we seem bit off form on the final touch.
Defense wise I'm not impressed with luis sometimes he is not fast enough to track back.
costa need a few more games back into his sharpness.
1 thing I have to agree on bbc pundit even we loss possession we were very quickly getting it back.
we did it faster than last seasons thanks to our upgrade in the pivot.
but than I felt we are not solid enough in term of physical strength in the pivot if not it going to be one way traffic.
Qpr keeper done a great jobs saving quite lots of attempt impressive.
oscar another impressive runs and what a finish.
Lastly I dun see any parking the bus tactic use. laugh.gif

Btw i hoping for a draw for tonight game.it will keep both MC and 'getting more and more stronger' MU at bay

I want Man Utd to win the game. I rather let a wounded bird to have a chance to recover rather than letting the stronger bird split the meal, if you get what i mean. brows.gif

pique will be a direct replacement for JT. will be a great addition to the squad. doubt he'll leave barca for us though.

hoping for a united win tonight. 9 pts clear will be a great advantage.

He leave because of the new coach's play style if I'm not mistaken.

United down to 10 men already. Haiihh. That red card should've been shown for those headlocks on Jt and Iva.Like I said..we're going to rue the draw at old trafford.

Perhaps we can loan them a bus at HT? sweat.gif

2 clear penalty not given. Look like united find another potential replacement for mr webb. That rojo last tackle worth a red imo. Goal scoring chance.

beg to differ, after looked on the replay i would agree with the ref. Rojo does got the ball first.

However, the challenge from Fellaini on Kun definitely should be given.

For the sake of football, i hope City cash United hard but for the sake of Chelsea, please parking the f***in aeroplane already Van Gaal

Yep city going for the killer blow, but it seems they're leaving quite a lot of space at the back as well. Utd not out of it yet. They should just throw men forward and rely on last ditch defending since they're basically immune to penalties in this game icon_idea.gif

Post match interview, Mou doesn't enjoy the game... I can see why... it feels like every game like that. Once we score 1 goal, our team seems to let go of the gas.... should have kill the game while we can... those last minute gasps from the other team can disrupt our defence.... hopefully this will be solve now that Ramirez is back.

Just read a few of the latest page of MUST. Their fans keep saying the era when Roman just bought the club and spent on players. doh.gif

Not that I'm siding kucing max's side or their side.

Well of coz there will be spendings on player when there is a rehaul of the squad. For instance, diz season Utd oso spent so much. Di Maria? How much did he cost eh? whistling.gif They signed Blind, Rojo and Di Maria all together for some hefty price tag tho. That day just saw in troll football. Di Maria's price was equivalent of the sum of a few City's player. laugh.gif

Now Utd is under transition phase, we'll see them spend big. Just lucky that they did not offend the FFP regulation. whistling.gif

What kucing max saying is of currently. Well, currently I would say Ron Gourlay, Roman and Mou have done brilliantly in terms of FFP. Selling Mata, KDB, Lukaku was good business. Albeit a bit sad to see them leave. cry.gif But it was gud business to balance our FFP.

Since when MUST bcum time machine and talk about the past, mcm deja vu je. Mcm learn from some other club je. Keep talk bout history. whistling.gif

Ramires is back, so who will be dropped?
Willian?
*
By the look of things, i think Willian will be sacrifice for Ramirez. with Rami in pivot with Matic, Cesc will be able to roam up front and do his magic like the starting of the season...

I think we should rest our key players against Marribor... we need the legs... it's a marathon... not a sprinting race.... dun want to burnout our players like what happened to Oscar last time... totally burnout... Now, he's finding his form back...

on the side note, liverpool fielded their second team against Real Madrid.... it's a better result compare to their first XI... something for Mr Rodgers to ponder on... hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif the game against them will be interesting.... but in the mean time i would like to see the following starts against Marribor:

-------- Cech ------------
Azpi, Zouma, Cahill, Luis
------ Mikel, Ake ------
Salah, Ramirez, Schurlle
-------- Drogba ----------

I know the team I field doesn't have a commanding midfielder like Cesc or Matic, but give Ake a chance to prove his worth... it was his long pass to Hazard on the last UCL game that was a thing of beauty... I think Ake got the vision and passing skills. just need to develop it during game time. what do u guys think? If things doesn't work out, we can always sub in Cesc, Hazard or Oscar in.

Kolo Toure was excellent against Real Madrid last night. Especially against Ronaldo. lol.
but still lost 1-0. at least they aren't totally out of the Champion's League yet.

mourinho gonna miss his daughter's 18th birthday when he bring Chelsea to play against Maribor.

Chelsea line-up v Maribor: Cech; Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry ©, Filipe Luis; Matic, Fabregas; Schurrle, Willian, Hazard; Drogba

attacking and pinning maribor from minute 1. hopefully we can actually score and not another one of those wasteful game.

Yup, no sentiment here, he is legend but i dont think he can start after last week already involved three games in a row. Twice fabregas delivered very superb pass especially in first half but he too slow. Should start with costa.

Im worried with our players on the bench. No one seems can give impact subs. Expecting hairdryer treatment for schurlle willian etc

We had our chances. Oh man we had our chances. Nobody brought their shooting boots today and i think Didier in particular looked really2 off. A lot of our attacking moves ended with his mistakes, and it's a small wonder he managed to stay on.

Again i don't understand the fascination with starting schurrle instead of taking a chance on salah.willian wasn't effective but i'd rather he stayed on instead of the drog. Rami on the right was a bit confusing too as I think a back three of luis, iva and JT/ Zouma would suffice, and instead of rami, another attacking player should've remained a viable last minute addition.

Hazard really needs to take more shots and work on his one on one finishing.could've won the game for us with a couple of goals, which were both easy chances for a player of his stature. Needs to up his game by about 50% if we wish to get anything from anfield.

We're slowly becoming reliant on the belgian wizard to settle scrappy games, and that's not good. Other players need to step up too!

*
Def another striker problem. Can't rely on Costa alone and was suppose to have Remy to back up. Instead end up relying on old Drog.

No idea what happened to schurrle after coming back from that winning World Cup. Don't really like the way he's been taking blind shots from outside the penalty box. Preferably he made his cutting runs and scoring. Totally no form this match. Unaware of hi position, keep getting offside. If this keeps up, I am fear for him that Mourinho might just sell him off.

Fabregas also lil bit off this game. Maybe fatigue setting in. Ramires didn't offer much on the right as well

Against pool this weekend at Anfield and they rested their stronger team. Hope we can seal a victory there. Could boost the morale of the team

No.... we drop points again... and we fielded quite a strong squad... what happened? didn't watch the game.... Hazard missed a penalty... I guess that's not a norm for him...

That makes his first penalty missed this season.

Yeah, definitely his 1st miss. Already had a bad feeling when he was stepping up to the penalty, maybe because Maribor GK is god mode. Must win games against Sporting Lisbon and Schalke now.

about Schurrle, he always shots a lot, even before he won the world cup..

the difference here is that now he shot off the target, while before this on the target.

He also rarely try to outrun and run behind the defenders.

maybe time for Salah to get some minutes against Liverpool, for me Willian must start.

Didnt catch the game, but I think we did okay for the comeback. Penalty is a lottery, Hazard 100% record will come to an end eventually and thank god it's not BPL match.

Shalke lost and we going to play Sporting at home next. We should be fine and let cutting some slack to those players.

Yeah, Schurrle is way off target more now after the WC. He's definitely not the best finisher we have in the squad. Costa looks a bit rusty during the introduction but gradually eased into the game especially with that strike where the keeper tip it off the cross bar.

Look like November slump very hard to shake off.
few player off form and player come back from injury needed few more match to sharp again.

yea. need more rotation within the players.
seriously i really hope salah get his times.
he has speed. rmb the goal against arsenal?
when goes to december, cant afford much mistakes else drop points.
is crucial as other teams like manu dun hv CL match and reserved more energy.

btw, mc is really in trouble now.
somwhow i hope mc and liverpool can advance to nx stage then lose after that.
so that they wont be able to reserve too much for bpl matches. icon_idea.gif

lol a bit worried with Schurrle's form. who knows come January he might be sold off?
Cech already tied to UCL.

last season Mourinho warn Hazard, Oscar and Schurrle to improve
Oscar doing well, so is Hazard. Schurrle on the other hand, hasn't been up to par since coming back from winning the WC.

I dun think we will have trouble in dec.
currently many of our player just return from injury and most likely our player will be sharp again in dec.
besides we have advantages in dec since we have better squad depth.
About salah I no longer view him highly he take to long to improve his touch, passing and decision making. The biggest problem is he didn't make use of the chances given.

Same thing can be said for schurrle

As of now i cant think anyone who fit as a genuine right winger for chelsea. Not one in our club and even for us to buy

Perhaps promote ivanovic to be a winger and move azpi to rb?

nope.
Returning from injury is much more harder than rotation.

U need to build ur fitness back like almost from zero as ur body didnt workout (depends on injury)...takes more time for precautionary and....building the form again.

Which is why ive stressed out few pages back that we need more rotation..

As for rotation, u only have to deal with and improve ur form as u might be rusty from bench time.

More salah and rami pls

RW? Give it to oscar.

Quality on the bench not as good as first team. Only at DM position if matic or cesc suspended( 1 yellow away for one match ban) we got Rami or Mikel. But if hazard injured, oscar injured, i dont see we got quality replacement. Salah schurlle willian not consistent enough. I think on January, Jose will be in the market for RW position.

Is sturridge available for tomorrow game?

Our own attacking dept a bit ineffective ATM. Need to be more clinical vs Liverpool. Can't rely on getting penalty in every game. Dave vs sterling will be gooding.

Costa doesn't fit Spain's tiki taka anyways. going on Spain international does more harm than good to him imo.

i think this is a stage where complacency start to get high within the team. the draw against marribor in midweek should be a good wake-up call and hopefully, we can turn in a very good performance against liverpool.

Liverpool 0 - Chelsea 3

This game should be much easier than last season for Chelsea.

I don't see Liverpool getting a draw at least.

Yep at the moment he really looks like the proverbial square peg in a round hole with spain. Doesn't look like del Bosque knows how to utilise him at all. The sooner he takes a liking to valencia's paco alcacer, the better.

True. I guess sometimes the 'favourites' tag can actually have a detrimental effect on players, making them overconfident and such. As we can see,the goals are slowly starting to dry up too,but i hope this is due to costa's absence and lack of fitness more than anything else.

Jose has been speaking about coming to anfield to win,but i think the players are 'polishing the bus' in training as we speak laugh.gif it paid off big time last season,so i don't think the boss will deviate too far from that strategy this time around. I have no problems with it,as long as we take our chances when they come along.

i agree. we just need to soak up Liverpool's attacks for the first half, they should be out of ideas and steam. esp with Balotelli being effective and the new southampton players not doing too good either. Hit them on the counter attack again. We do better playing on defensive and attacking on the counter anyways

am i the only one who worried about the game tonight? got a feeling BR might pull out some magic later on

keep in mind their 1st team was rested during the midweek european match, so they might have the upper hand in terms of fitness

hopefully we able kill the game earliest as possible.

we all worried, but knowing how usually we prepared for big team.

I think we will be alright, 1 pts is good, 3 pts better.

considering they rested half of the first team, and one more day to rest.

I dont think we will go as defensive as last season, but as long as the team can adapt to the gameplay from Liverpool, it should not be a problem.

I hope Costa back to scoresheet, with Oscar or Hazard to get another one,

prediction? same as last season, 2-0 biggrin.gif

Btw, I think it'll be tight. Maybe a 1-0 or 2-1 win for us. Hope the defense is good enough and Costa is fit enuff to score a brace. flex.gif

Hype by media that we will finish this season unbeaten really givr extra pressure to players. But i think jose always prepared his team when facing big team. KTBFFH

The hype by Liverpool fans lagi big mang. They rest their whole starting 11 against RM. If they get a draw, they will be more disappointed.

Imagine u are the starting 11 of RM. The crowd, the coach, the fans, all expect u to win coz u were rested in the game against RM.

I guess Mou wants more possession in mid. Thats why Ram, Matic n Fab. Ram will cover for Fab when Fab goes up attacking. Expect a superb match. Gogo! KTBFFH!!

Chelsea's advantage lies in their bench, they can change up if needed.
