i think this is a stage where complacency start to get high within the team. the draw against marribor in midweek should be a good wake-up call and hopefully, we can turn in a very good performance against liverpool.

I think handball nowdays is like winning a lottery. The rules have some grey areas and it depend much on how the ref view the incident. Bare in mind though, the ref doesnt have the replay to review the incident and make the call. The root cause is on the system and Chelsea just capitalize in the chances and the decision.

It was an improved performance by the team but I believe there is atill a lot that need improvement. Willian, Schurrle, Ramires still not clicking into gear after the world cup and hopefully they can stay fit and get better along the season. Good goal for Costa and hopefully he can start banging in the goals again. Fabregas could use some rest though. Been playing continuosly since joining us.

I think between costa n fab, better sub fab out first. I think the result now is pretty comfortable. Maybe can give ramires some game time. Salah can also step in with oscar dropping to cm. I think both need game time badly.

the players that i wish to be rested this weekend is fabregas and iva. they've played in every match so far this season and considering the tough upcoming fixtures in december, a fully rested central figures in the team is very important.

matic and ramires can be paired at DM. should be no problem. ramires also need some game time after his injury set back.

i think the result is fair to both team. i think sunderland got their game plan executed perfectly. as for ours, i think some of the lads are not having their best outing.

imo, hazard perform poorly tonight. not like his usual self.. can't recall anything of note from him. costa is alone upfront due to banks of sunderland players sandwiching him in the middle. willian is hardworking in defense and anticipating passes but his slow decision making during counter-attack eliminate the team's chance to get a go on the goal.

i think fatigue is getting to some of the player. if not mistaken, this same team started since the last 3-4 matches. hopefully mourinho is aware what is coming.

QUOTE(gry @ Nov 30 2014, 03:41 AM)
Yup we talking about fatigue but which players on the bench can give the different. We lacking winger. Natural winger. I dont think Mou will using new players except players get injured or suspended because no one on the bench can make the different.

Too narrow. Lack of widht. One dimensional especially tonite. Salah or schurlle shud play after 70 minutes because we need different approach because tempo very slow and sunderland easily park double decker bus.

Spurs on wednesday n without costa, for sure drogba will start but fatigue kicking in, it getting hard for certain players to perform. Mou should bring someone on january transfer. Badly need proper winger especially on right!

agree that the team lack width. iva and azpi did went forward last night but rather than delivering any crosses they opted to cut inside and ultimately, we lost possession due to the layers of sunderland players in the box. i don't think sunderland CB have the proper height and strength as stoke city and i think delivering crosses should be able to break them rather than ground passes.

nevertheless, i hope spurs will not park the bus during the next game. defending strategy was never easy but if you manage to pull it off, 1 point is surely within grasp and if luck strike (during counter-attack), 3 points is also possible.

What a game! Newcastle played the game really well and what is important is that, the take their chances.

As for us, we just had ourselves to be blamed for the defeat. We had been one dimensional since 4-5 games before this and logically, opponent will easily read our game plan. And that is what Newcastle did to us. Seriously, starting the same team (very minor changes) since the last 4 games? You still need to consider the fatigue level of all the player as well because fatigue will affect the way you make decision during game.

Comment on individual player? I think Hazard is very very poor tonight. He do have some good play but as the game went on, he hold the ball for an eternity which causes Newcastle defense to regain their shape.

Quite bitter with the lost but I hope this will be a wake-up call to everybody.

I will not put the blame on Mikel. I think he played well tonight. He is not Matic so, it is unfair to judge him against the man he replaced. He distributed the ball well, especially when we are pushing for the goals and I am totally satisfied with the way he played.

As for Oscar, this is just 'that' time of the season again for him.

Hahaha arsenal down 1-0 already

Anyways i cannot brain why sub azpilicueta
When luis warming up i thought iva going to be replaced and azpi to right and luis left.

But sub azpi... Zzzzzz

Mikel? His passes was prone to interception. U see he pass also feel like having a heart attack

i think that was a good sub from JM. we are chasing the game at that time and i think all of us is aware that azpi is quite hesitant to go forward. plus, we got 2 target men upfront so a good crosser should increase our chance to get a goal.

i am quite surprise as arsenal played really badly. not even to their own standard, let alone the beauty that they always bragged.

i watched only the first half but the team looks good. especially shurrle. i hope he can be a good competitor against willian for the starting berth on the right.

another thing that i noticed last night is that we seldom hold the ball for far too long which is a good improvement from the game against newcastle. i do hope hazard come back good against hull because i think he been pretty poor in the game against newcastle.

a well deserved result plus a well deserved rest to some of the player. oscar, hazard, willian, terry, iva.. cesc turn is coming this weekend. hopefully december will be good for us.

I dont think there is any service to costa yet tonight. We reverted to the fancy football down both flanks which caused costa to be dragged out of his preferred position. And the last 10-15 minutes had been quite poor for us. Giving away cheap possessions to hull city.
