Yes at that time the 3 main core is still there. Cech, Terry and Lampard. I think I should include Drogba as well since he play a significant role in terms of goal scoring. If any of your core were sold at that time, you guys might be facing what we are currently facing and what Tot faced before.

We did the wrong thing which we bought quantity rather than quality. Last season we were called as one man team I still think it might not be the case as if we have Sturridge back we might not do that badly. (He is the only hope for me at least )

Bring in back Cech. He should be able to solve your LMG crisis.

Maybe we should start to develop our youngsters in remaining cup matches like Capital and FA cup. Zouma need to get some time to familiarize to partner with Cahill when Terry hung his boots. Solanke and Baker too need some time. Hopefully they are what Mourinho claim. Really want to see some player that actually came out from our academy can represent us like how Terry did.

yep, imo i think Cech is still better, esp maintaining def. feel like we are in safer hands with cech.
but courtois is the future. physically better, and younger. with a more aggressive distribution as well, imo.
once he can manage the back line and learn as much as he can from Cech, we'll have a strong def for years to come

so far Mou did everything he said.

our final frontier will be bringing youth to the first team regular.

and this will take a few season..we should be patience about this.

As for Gerrard, he was playing there last season and he had not much problem with the team attacking most of the team instead of defending. This season was the total opposite especially the counter attack from opponents. He doesnt have the pace and power he used to have. Dropping him seems the easier way to go but is there any players who can play that role?

Plus there were no real leader in the team anymore if we did took out Gerrard. I blame BR for his stubbornness. The current formation is definitely not working anymore. This is going to cause his job if he still playing the same tactic.

For me, our core is Courtois, Cahill, Matic, Fab, Oscar, Hazard and Costa.

I know, haha for me he is a key player no doubt, but for the formation to work and fully function..we need the 5 players I mentioned before this.

If you switch Hazard with Salah or Schurrle, the team will still play exactly the same, the difference is whatever Hazard can bring to the team and them cannot, to be fair the system will work the same way but not as effective as with Hazard or Oscar

for me every player deserve the same credit as far the season goes. But there are still room for improvement particularly the killing off the game aspect. We still lacking on that i believe. The player need to be more ruthless yet compose when in front of the goal. Hazard a bit reluctance nowadays to try something special with this talent unlike his first season here. Perhaps too concern about maintaining the team shape and discipline.
