Evans by right shud be the 1 leading the defense now that Vidic and Ferdinand is gone, but injury pula. Carrick was the core, until he got his injury prob.   I think Blind is the 1st name in the starting 11 for LVG if he is fit.   
But but....I rmb at 1 point of this season. Moyes actually had more points than LVG. Maybe Glazers and the fan felt safer in LVG's hand instead of Moyes. I think we can conclude Moyes is a manager for team pushing into top 4. He is not a manager to continue winning trophies with money to spend. I think LVG spend the money more wisely compared to Moyes.

Actually Mutu's record in Serie A is really impressive, he scores and assist quite a lot. Just his off field prob, failing the drug test, and also the breach of contract prob. Really ruined his time in Chelsea.

Essien's a good CM,but injury ruined his time. I remember reading a football magazine,reading the injury table,it was back in September 2008,saw a player named "Essien" out with ACL injury.
