yeah most games are either upscaled from 720p or 1080p on our 2K screen. Native 2K textures android game? even just thinking about that is making my head spin....definitely not possible anytime soon, another 2 years definitely makes sense, since we will have 4K+ displays by then

I'm struggling with my Note4 WIFI connection. Seem like throttle down while my S3 can have a very good speed. Anyone facing this issue?

ChengLu CWM version 6.0.5.1 can now successfully backup my Note4 full rom onto external SDcard
The whole backup took about 20+ mins . Don't be surprised to see no response at backing up system and data stage. Just patiently wait for whole backup to finish

are you rooted? a number of rooted users are having wifi issues over at xda. For me, the wifi on this is worlds ahead of the note 3 since its a dual stream AC chip, so much better WLAN transfer rates.NOt to say that the note 3 had bad wifi though as for normal internet usage it was great enough.

Never had any wifi issues in my home P1 network. Had tested the Note 4 at Old Town in LowYat, various cafes too at BP shopping malls and McD

Uncle, could you try finding what is this IndexService with Titanium and freeze it? We'd like to know what impact it has when frozen.

It's waking and messing with the battery. I've also swapped my sdcard but it's still showing. edtai has also experienced this IndexService wakelock.

So....it seems that the Note 4 is trying very hard to index the text INSIDE PDFs........WTF

I've got lots and lots of PDFs on my sdcard. The reason is to read them. Why in the blazes does Android want to index the text INSIDE the PDF ?

For those with few PDFs, could you try deleting them from your SDCard and report back?

the last time i saw indexservice was when i full wiped my note 3 last year to install a custom ROM. Battery was draining fast while the phone was running hot....waited for a while and it didnt get better, so i just rebooted the phone and it was fine after that. I have A LOT of PDFs on my extSDcard so maybe its something else

Yup this is my spare card.....bought last month.

According to that thread, it's either due to it being a 64Gb card or too many PDFs. One guy solved it by deleting all PDFs.

So all Note 4 affected or just can be fix by a reboot? That's weird.

Just disable the feature 'reduce data usage' in setting. This should fix the problem.
