Believe it. Check out the new 2014 Mitsubishi Electric premium models (imported). That's already asking for over 3.4k for 1hp and close to 4k over for 1.5hp but the savings is jaw dropping that even 1.5hp saves 50% more than current 1.0hp inverters and 1.0hp about 3-4x more.
*
I heard it 460w only right for 1hp.

Got money then enjoy premium life.

I heard that Daikin have 2 chipset boards located in both aircon & motor units, is it true? And the retailer mentioned that the inverter board replacement is very expensive, costing around RM800+

You guy know how to check the fan coil blower suddenly stop, like no current at all.

If use test pen can check on power supply cable indoor or outdoor and test the wiring cable brown color got light on is correct, if the blue color cable got light on test pen, meant wire cable have to replace new.

Now my ME inverter 2.5hp is same happen cable supply from outdoor to indoor got light at fan coil for blue cable wire.

Meaning power cable have to replacd new, cable internal has break-off.

sweat.gif sweat.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif ultra expensive. but why is that? what's so good/special about it?

also now that i've read quite many many pages on this thread, i noticed that none of you guys talked about the brand GREE aircond. it claimed to be the world's LARGEST aircond manufacturer.

Special you pay for fully imported from Japan specs as low as 485w for 1hp equivalent to 2 x 1hp non inverter units.

Gree would be better choice.

How does gree compared to the likes of Sharp or Panasonic? And to the likes of acson/daikin/York? Seriously difficult to find any review which relevant to our market.

I always use Panasonic as my first choice, initial cost high, but spare part cheaper, nationwide after sale service. I use 5 years inverter for 4 units, non 1 give me a problem, the installer are important! The end user must understand the basic or air conditioning, if don't know please read the installation manual which in provided inside the box(most of ppl never read), that y some problem is come from the installer

Gree or media for low end markets, you can't compare those japanese brands.

For me if due to budget on Gree is very satisfied

Dear All Sifu-Sifu biggrin.gif ,

I just bought an 950 sf apartment (3R2B) , below is my dilemma on the air-cond selection, kindly provide me some direction on the selection:

1) MasterRoom (10 ft[wide] X 10 ft[long] X 8 Ft [heights])
- Due to developer was conceal all the pipe in wall which provided only normal R22 pipe, if want to conceal all the pipe again for inverter cost me 1k~1.5k because of it take 25 ft distance. So I was aiming R22 pipe air cond. There is 2 choice that I aim : Panasonic (CS-C9PKH non inverter) or Daikin Inverter (FTKD-25GVM (1.0hp) non-inverter). Any idea on this 2 selection? hmm.gif
Is that Daikin inverter will more electricity saving compare to Panasonic Econavi only which this room will always open more than 8 hours for sleep time. yawn.gif

2) LivingRoom (10 ft [W] X 30 ft [L] X 8 ft )
- Easy to conceal the pipe, so no issue for inverter series. Aiming for Panasonic (CS-S18 PKH (2.0hp).

3) SecondRoom (10 ft[wide] X 10 ft[long] X 8 Ft [heights]) [Study & Computer Room]
- Easy to conceal the pipe, so no issue for inverter series. Aiming for Panasonic (CS-S10 PKH (1.0hp).

My main convert is electricity saver which I would like to hear all sifu opinion and hope to make me more clear on the chosen of air-cond . Pro and cons acceptable . thumbup.gif

Thanks a lots. cool.gif
