My all never extended also has been usage over 6 yrs didn't repair any cent then u are lucky. the 7 years warranty just for compressor motor, meaning after 2 years if the PCB is fried, u better change to new aircond. Anyway, add on 3 years more only 170, i think still worth it.

Lots of discussion and debate on pro and cons of R22 and R410A gas type Aircond. My new house just too bad, piping given are of R22 type, if change, it will costs a bomb (atomic bomb) There are even talk that manufacturer will cease production for R22 wef June, this add further to my agony. Was at a fair yesterday, was told only Daikin continue production but till end of this year, whereas Panasonic yet to confirm. Not sure how true it is, as I hope still stocks end of this year, as be getting it end of this year. Hope the statement by salesman is true that still stocks end of this year

Cause conceal wall to be more durable than run with trunking casing at all Oh really? I thought I lost hope. I don't want to change all conceal piping as provided by the developer. Yes, it is brand new. With this I may be able to use R410A type of air cond after all. Perhaps I will get my contractor to look at this possibility once his design proposal is out. This thing has been causing numerous thought and really bothering me. Thank you for the sharing and hope it is ok. Then I have more choices to choose from.

Bought a inverter Mitsu after seeing it being recommended so many time on this forum and ended up with a quite noisy unit, not the compressor but the indoor unit itself. Should have opted for other brand.

Then hope the installer is experience. On the side note, saw an ad in the newspaper that York is back with another company. Not sure how this going to turn up. Will see As Renovation schedule is closer, extra effort in the next few months looking for good deal, especially warehouse sales try to save some monies.
