the speaker grille is all lubang. that certainly does not help in the water resistance. cause it came loose on one side and I peel it off
wanted to stick back but i guess no need la haha

So just wondering, after peeling off the grille, does your speakers louder or muffled?

i dont know how describe but small lubang water dint penetrate one
unless theres something wrong with rubber gasket, like my case
the original adhesive not holding grill very well anymore
and theres second white thin layer behind the grill, thats make our volume quite low

same. got another secondary layer to cover the speaker hole

Yeah it is louder. When i stick in on a white piece of paper the holes are not immediately obvious as much of it has been covered.

If new flagship is coming, there is definite need to improve battery performance. Capacity doesn't mean anything if your system draining it faster than other devices.
Hope those user experience test at sweden do bring some game changer.

Z2 and Z3 battery is great. It is just Z1 battery sucks. The screen too.

Mine still can charge but the port detached from the frame.

I am guessing the price should not be expensive cuz i don't think it is attached to the mother board... check with SC maybe?

Not mine actually. Just a reference for you.
My Z2 and Z Ultra still have the dock pins attached to the frame tightly.

the adhesive / double tape weak already..mybe coz im using quite strong magnetic cable (metal with led type)..
if using normal magnetic cable it should be ok..

Hi guys,

If I send in to replace the battery, will my phone still be waterproof after the procedure?

My battery is acting weird where by around 50%, it will shut down and the display will show battery is at 1%? Anyone else encounter the same thing?

unless you sent to authorised sony centre, you can ask them to test waterproof after replace the battery
got a member here posted about it a few pages back

for the problem, i cant tell the exact, maybe the battery problem. mine got battery problem too
its like charged 100% then after use heavy apps like gaming & camera, within a minute it shutdown and need recharge to switch on again
