Looks like SEMS is making quite some money from this. I have sent my Z1 and my dad's SP to SEMS for change of battery.

QUOTE(evofantasy @ Jul 1 2015, 04:39 PM) battery wear and tear is normal. It is just lithium packaged into an expandable sealed bag. Don't even need any sturdy construction. it is a fair price.i am surprised how cheap their battery is (rm40+) compared to other brands. lolipop is a big improvement for me personally (HTC One M7). not sure about the Z1 |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Jul 6 2015, 07:22 PM) rumours said z5 launching in sept, http://www.lowyat.net/2015/07/sony-xperia-...september-2015/ but i doubt so it can make it sept QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Jul 6 2015, 07:48 PM) This year Sony only release C4, E4, and Z3+. So Sept is very likely. I can't imagine if Sony only going to release three phones this whole year with Z3+ being a doomed flagship from the start. |

Anyone experiencing almost like no bass when listening mp3 over earphone in Music? Weird. It only sounds bad with no bass on with my own mp3 but on Spotify, the bass is fine. My personal mp3 also plays louder. I played the same song on my laptop with the same earphone is fine. Just my phone. Kind of sucks really.

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Jul 21 2015, 10:09 AM) Than how do I tweak it? I tried so many things it doesn't work. I didn't quit and switching to my own MP3 is very loud with no bass. I can reduce the volume but still no bass lol. However when I quit Spotify it becomes too soft but the bass is back. |

QUOTE(shaynewai @ Aug 2 2015, 01:01 PM) If new flagship is coming, there is definite need to improve battery performance. Capacity doesn't mean anything if your system draining it faster than other devices. Z2 and Z3 battery is great. It is just Z1 battery sucks. The screen too.Hope those user experience test at sweden do bring some game changer. |

QUOTE(MjMax15 @ Aug 13 2015, 09:57 AM) unless you sent to authorised sony centre, you can ask them to test waterproof after replace the battery Hmm really? I though if u test waterproof and the water gets in and kills the phone, you will have to pay the cost of the repairs.. probably safest to try when the phone is still under warranty. i don't dare to use my phone with water now lolgot a member here posted about it a few pages back for the problem, i cant tell the exact, maybe the battery problem. mine got battery problem too its like charged 100% then after use heavy apps like gaming & camera, within a minute it shutdown and need recharge to switch on again |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Aug 13 2015, 12:52 PM) I remember Sony mentioned that the phone is 365 days waterproof in an ad. I think they wanna point out that they can't guarantee the is waterproof after a year because of degraded seals. By degraded seals, I mean not only the back but the headphone jack, screen, speakers and mic assemblies. In that case it is good enough. In the manual did say that water resistance will reduce overtime due to wear and tear. No doubt, my phone still can survive some oops moment...or probably not so much since my speaker grill has came off lol |
