I got my JT for 4925 inclusive GST, through lazada and the supplier is TMT online. (Lazada publish price 5175 + 250 firework voucher)
Actually can be get even lower at 4657.50 if I book a day later (with 10% storewide discount)
*
Nice... what's the firework voucher?
And another question about your laptop is what make and model is your wireless module? Any issue observed?

EDIT: http://www.lazada.com.my/shop-laptops/?q=g751
WTF, the pricing now... rclxub.gif

the price is getting crazier for each release cycle. since everything has become overpriced (and it might continue because ringgit will get hit again by usd), it's not the right time to get stuff for now.

If after refresh no issue then why bother to send for checking? Monitor it for now and if the issue reoccurs then you can consider to send it in for checking, if the service center cannot observe the problem at their end also they can't do much... rclxub.gif
And one advice, don't take out the battery when the laptop is still on. The battery is not designed for hot-plugging... sweat.gif

probably... but have you look up on the bsod code solution online? Worst come to worst you have to re-install the Asus Power4Gear program.

you misunderstood how power source works. apparently the problem started not after you installed the software, but after you pulled the battery out without powering the machine off.

i use both software too for years, no problem.

Why bother remove battery? It wont explode or overcharge, notebook nowadays already been carefully engineered, specially Asus.
My 4 years old notebook battery never been removed, still work 4+ hours without AC supply, still in good health and haven't explode. tongue.gif

lol! you should do that long time ago. the stock is really a crappy card.

i think the laptop only has 2 antennas, so don't get the card with 3 antennas, because it will drop performance to half from my previous experience.

3 Antennas will work best but 2 is fine actually performance shouldn't drop much perhaps it was Wireless N or AC?, some laptops are using 3 antennas for quite some time, but not sure why Asus did sticking to 2 antennas.

no. previously my friend tried killer-n 1103 and intel 6300 (both needs 3 antennas) with his asus g75 (2 antennas), the max speed for both were about half of full speed only (max is 450mbps iirc). his other machines could reach max speed with the same cards.

it's fine that asus has 2-antenna setup, because most .ac wifi cards needs only 2 antennas to work. i have tested intel 7260 .ac with g55. it works nicely.

edit: i forgot to mention that to achieve max speed it requires compatible a wifi router. his router was an expensive one hehe so he could reach that 450mbps without problems.

Does it happen to the router only? Tried other places like friend's house? still presistent? You might want to check the channel when it is congested, it could potential interfere your wireless connectivity due to switching the best channel.

Can say that the 2.4GHz band congested... Tried with channel with the least number of user/signal strength interference but still seeing the same issue... But i think with better card (MIMO), all this crosstalk from others won't be so interfering, as the current one i have is AR956x is only SISO... doh.gif

EDIT: Forgot to mention this is common issue for AR956x... a quick Google showed its' flawed history... cry.gif

that card is like an entry-level card of all entry-level cards. the same happened previously (atheros AR9485WB-EG in g55/g75).
