Hey guys, just a quick question on Celcom's iPhone plans. If I sign up for the most basic plan, i.e. Celcom First Prime which is RM40 + RM38 for data, so that's a RM78 commitment. The device price is RM2,448 + RM150 Advance Bill Payment (rebated over 10 months) so that's RM 2,598 right?

My question is, there's another column that says Celcom First Rebate of RM230 to be paid over 10 months, i.e. RM23 per month? So am I right to say that my first month bill would be: -

RM78 commitment - RM15 advance bill payment - RM23 rebate?

and for the next 9 months, the bill would be RM78-RM15-RM23?

Is that right?

Ideally yes but fact is they are charging more, still waiting for my 1st month bill since I got the phone. They charged RM1xx to my ccard for my wife's line.

There is this RM10 stamp fee. And RM40 commitment fee if i am not wrong for the first bill

And there will be a prorated amount for the number of days left for the billing cycle. Which means lets say the bill start at 3rd of every month and u get your phone on the 25. There will be addition amount on top of the RM78 from 25th to 2nd of the month. So first month bill usually more than usual.

other than that. the rest of the month sld be fine.

So this refer to 16GB 6 plus right..
Based on my last 3 months bill statement (i signed during the launching day), i only got the RM15 rebate..
Since you highlighted here, i am also wondering when will they deduct the RM220 (mine 4GB), NVM, i will call Celcom later to get clarification on this. hmm.gif mad.gif vmad.gif

So basically mine is:-
1st Month Nov 14
RM98 - RM15 only + RMxx (Prorate from day of purchase until bill date) + RM(usage)
(as what bro ASGM99 mentioned above)

The rest
RM98 - RM15 only + RM(usage)

U mean there is another 40 commitment fee on top of the 78 commitment? Gosh, that is strange. But the rest of your explanation I understood clearly. Thanks for that! Thinking of signing up a line for my wife.

I just signed up iPhone 98 plan yesterday morning (previously i was taking celcom 68 plan) and till now i checked my online CS of Celcom for data consumption info, it still shows 0.

Would like to ask how long it takes for the data 3GB + 1GB to be activated? It's been more than one day already... sad.gif

Thanks!

Guys, is it normal that a potential buyer requested IMEI number of my phone? What is the purpose of it?

This is my wife's phone bill for january. Got the 6+ on the 19th december. Anyone knows why I'm being charged RM150 upfront charge + another RM38 upfront charge for the data? Called 1111 and the ever stupid agent tells me it's the advance payment and I'll be refunded RM15 monthly.

Told her that I've ady made the 150 advance payment when I got the phone so why am I being charged twice? In fact my phone bill shows the same thing.

Attached Image

* Update : Lodged a report through the online customer service and was told that I'm indeed double charged but 30 mins
later I received a call from celcom telling me that there is no double charge. In fact that RM150 is actually the record of
payment I made, somehow I think celcom's billing system is damn complicated.

Yes, u shd c a credit in ur statement of RM150 for the payment U made when u sign up. If there is no credit of RM150, then celcom might have overlook Ur payment.
