Anyone here using celcom first 38? Is it worth the value? Heard that the speed have been capped not more than 6mbps? Any review?
*
Yes speed capped at 7.2mbps. By right should not capped. Hoping this issue will solved after that. If ur line is light use in call then this worth every cent. Load YouTube still fast enough and no lag even thought it capped at 7.2

Planning to sign up for my parents. Frankly speaking, when used on a mobile phone, I doubt we can feel any difference if it's just for normal daily usage except downloading.

agreed. but sometimes u wanna test it bro.

Ya the speed seems to be capped, just tested mine nod.gif
But still the speed is acceptably fast and for RM38 3GB i think it is worth it

Having problem with my celcom line. Eat my data like tomorrow.
Am using Iphone 6+ on celcom 1st premier, (RM150 to RM200) data 5gb +1 free GB.
Data usage was incredibly too fast. Billing cycle on 28/4 and by 2/5 finished already. Hardly use for a lot of surfing or updating or whatever as this is my office line. Complaint to celcom outlet and they said I use data for many things. Told them I even put to 3G to avoid excessive data usage but when I tracked, data loss was by 1 gb every few hours. I lodged a complaint online and they are investigating. I kill unused apps regularly and even off celullar.

Just checked my phone bill for last month. Got charged for a few internationl roaming GPRS data transactions which I'm pretty sure I switched off my data on the 6+. Was only using wifi all the while when Iw as in europe, And weird thing was from all the countries that I visted, I got charged in Greece & France only.

Called celcom & the representative said it's normal as iphones or android phones will still use data services once wifi signal is weak. I was like wth.. asked her back then what's the point of switching off the data services? Anybody has such issue before?

u're using which gen of iphone? the only thing i can think of is that my iphone has been jailbroken but don't think that would cause this issue either. Somehow talking to these bunch of stupid celcom CR make things worse. Who in the eorld will use a few kb of data?

That's quite a lot. I don't have such issue but my data consumption using the 6+ compared to my i5 last time has increased quite a lot. Not sure whether it's me, the phone or the network

Anyone experience switching from Digi to Celcom while on contract? What would be the penalty like?
