Ok, I guess my post was not very clear. I know about the existence of the 75" but didn't mention it because it was not relevant to me (value proposition is very poor but its to be expected for the size). I would prefer a 65" tv but since this model only has a 58" that is affordable to me, I am considering it as a trade-off for the near Oled level quality in a smaller size.

Any comments from those who own this tv?

Does anybody manage to get subtitle shown using TH-43E410K media player? I use srt file and its not showing. Tried changing the filename to simple word e.g movie.mkv and movie.srt, but to no avail. Read the manual and it says mkv may have issue showing subtitle...

Hi, I'm using this model. No problem while using the media to play movies with subtitles.

For example, if you want to watch Zootopia and put the name and srt ( Subtitle ) File and the folder name also the same.
MKV --> Zootopia.mkv
Subtitle --> Zootopia.srt
Folder --> Zootopia

After you open the video file --> Press Option --> Select Video Setup Menu --> Go to Subtitle --> Select the subtitle by pressing the left or right button --> Choose Subtitle 1 if you have one subtitle file in your folder. If both then select within 1 or 2.

Thanks.

Oh really? Maybe overseas already released. Outside Malaysia also have the same product No. Malaysia ends with K for TV Series. Eg. TH-43E410K.

Didn't know about it. Normally I will check the Panasonic TV Section to check whether that new models are released out. They will labeled as NEW.
Next series is FX and later is GX and so on. Panasonic New Appliances will go on to the next alphabet.

You're right. Panasonic already got the CES 2018 that mentioned no 3D support.

Thanks.

Panasonic default Picture Normal calibration is not right at all. The light grey is whiter. I know this because I can't clearly see the selection in my Mi Box Android TV If it is light grey at white box. Also I always feel it somehow not correct where the total image had too bright, weird colour whiteout and less layer feel.

So I decide to re-calibration again the Picture setting. This time I am finally satisfied with it. Now the colour looks right and finally the light grey is light grey.

Below is my setting for standard and HDR for 43" EX600K. This setting may also work for 49" and 55" EX600K series but not the 65" because 65" is VA panel not IPS.

Viewing Mode - Custom
Backlight - 68 (HDR 75)
Contrast - 88 (HDR 95)
Brightness - 0
Colour - 50
Tint - 0
Sharpness - 50
Colour Temperature - Warm1
Vivid Colour - On
Adaptive Backlight Control - Min (Too dark in certain view if in Mid)
Ambient Sensor - Off
Intelligent Frame Creation - Min (a lot artifacts issue once reach Mid)
Clear Motion - Off
Advanced Setting - Contrast Control - Custom
Advanced Setting - Contrast Control Setting - Adaptive Gamma Control - 8
Advanced Setting - Contrast Control Setting - Black Expander - 10
Advanced Setting - Contrast Control Setting - Clear White Effect - 6
Advanced Setting - Colour Gamut - Auto
Advanced Setting - Gamma - 2.2

Before my calibration, in default normal the selection is hardly to see as too bright like white. Colour looks whiteout.

After my calibration, now selection is easier to see and colour look much appealing and correct.

Suggest playback Planet Earth II 4K HDR or Blue Planet II 4K HDR to see which model your eyes comfortable with. Then buy it. cool2.gif

Anyone still using the legendary panasonic plasma 50ST50? I am using one and dissapointed with the reliability. Panel changed twice due to vertical line across the screen. 1st issue happened after 1.5years and replaced with new panel from japan and 6months later happened again. After 3years i thought it's reliable again but now reappear again. Total hours in this 5years only 2200 hours.
