How many hours on yours?
I thought mine already low enough. Daily only average 1hour.
It seems like this model has common problem with vertical line issue, my colleague also has lines after 2years of usage.
I don't think got any LED tv can match this, I liked it alot compared to other LEDtv that i see recently within rm3k range. Only tech that is better is OLED TV which is overly expensive.

For the average use is about 1.5 hours per day for last 5 years and is working fine

I believe the board is the one had the defect yet the technician keep replacing the panel only.

I am also a user of this tv.
I noticed the vertical line on the right side of the screen about 2 years ago. The line comes and go (not permanent).
Doesn't bother me much.

Some sifus here already migrated to LED tv from Plasma.
Maybe it is time to let go.

It's weird that mine has black vertical line on a blue background. Blue line on a red background. Green line on a yellow background.

From the experience of my 1st incident, it appears as single line, then eventually growing to 2 and more. My 1st warranty claim has more than 15 lines, which started from 1.

My tv still has extended warranty, already engaged with tech to check. Let's see whether it can be fixed or give me a replacement.

Lucky that you have extended warranty.
Do let us know how Panasonic tackle your tv problem.
I wonder whether they still have spares for this tv.

you don't change tv as frequent as phone. my advice is GET A MODEL (with higher spec) that can LAST you for sometime -at least you won't disappointed with the IQ and colour etc.

Plasma lover wont like LED TV

You need too because Plasma is long and permanent dead.

Im waiting for OLED price to come down?!!!

I am currently using an 8 year old Plasma (TH-P42X20K) and planning to upgrade to TH-55EX600K.

I am currently streaming Netflix using Google Chromecast. I saw that the 55EX600K has a build in Netflix app. I read that only certified Netflix Smart TVs can stream above 480p resolution. Would like to check if the Netflix app in 55EX600K can stream HD?

Also my current setup is I am using Altec Lansing speakers connected via the TV's composite OUT. From 55EX600k specs, I don't see a composite OUT. Only see there is a Digital Output and a headphone jack. So if I want to continue using my Altec Lansing speakers, I would need to connect it to the headphone jack?

Thank you for the inputs and any other comments on the 55EX600K.

Get a Digital to Analogue Converter. If you output from headphone jack - your tv will have no sound + your volume control is on TV

Am also considering 65EX600K but the price still around RM5k. Will it go down further?

As long as the plasma still works, than continue to use until the inevitable happen. Maybe than OLED will be something reasonable to own. Will totally skip LED

Buying a display set is not a good idea coz the set would have been on dynamic mode for 12 hours a day everyday and who knows how many people prodded the screen.
But if you get it super cheap and you're not very fussy, then go ahead.

Enough to deliver whatever 4K HDR contents except Double Vision.

Samsung 6 series performance is not good IMHO. Sony 8500 series is great. LG and Samsung colour just too fake.
