QUOTE(junk0460 @ Jun 10 2008, 01:04 PM) Probably will get the card today, but the seller are using sure reach... Oh, if it's Sure Reach I'm not sure of the procedure. However, I've received parcel before from Sure Reach, very good service. They called me to enquire for my location and reached my house earlier as estimated. Anyone know where is the sure reach office in penang? How's the tracking number looks like? |

QUOTE(goldfries @ Jun 26 2008, 02:24 PM) question - what do you guys think of Poslaju when it comes to International shipping? To be honest. I'm kinda paranoid of Poslaju when it comes to international shipping. If I were you, I will spend more for other courier services like DHL, FeDex...I'm quite afraid la. |

QUOTE(yingjee @ Jul 3 2008, 12:01 AM) so basically.. poslaju is just a sticker like registered post? i went to the pos website but gosh.. they dun reli provide alot of info there.. so if i wrap up something thats about 2 feet long, i can ask for poslaju? ish.. all this while i thought poslaju was an envelope but turns out its pos express? Yes, Poslaju is a like a form with sticker at the back. After you fill in, just give to the officer and he/she will paste for you. You don't need to do that yourself, they actually don't allow. Correct, the envelopes thingy is Pos Ekspres. The difference of Poslaju and Pos Ekspres is one requires recipient's signature (Poslaju) while one doesn't require (Pos Ekspres). The similarity is both takes about the same duration to reach. I never face any delay using them, but still some claimed Pos Ekspres is a little inefficient. Poslaju has different rate, depends on the volumetric measurements and location while Pos Ekspres has same rate throughout whole Malaysia. Hope this helps. |

QUOTE(kabal82 @ Oct 3 2008, 12:03 PM) Today, I go to Poslaju @ 11:25am to post my stuff. They charged me RM8.55 (delivered from Kch, Sarawak to West M'sia). The stuff only weight @ 0.12kg. If in this case, I think it is implemented to whole Malaysia. They say it's the new price starting this month. Old price : RM 7.50 New Price : RM 8.55 Increased by : RM 1.05 Is the price apply to Sarawak only or whole Malaysia? Thx! My good friend is from Kuching, oh gosh for me to send her parcels every month. Maybe I will opt for a cheaper alternative - Pos ekspres if for smaller items. |

You can always post your parcels during the lunch hour.
For my case, my time is flexible as I'm still a student and one little post is office is located in my campus, it is very convenient for me. |

But well, most of the sellers I encounter here send their goods during the lunch hour, gonna sacrifice some time there whereas some start work at 9.00 a.m., so they will do it before working as post office opens at 8.30 a.m.

Can say so. But Pos Ekspres doesn't require recipient's signature, so the thing might go missing as postman will just put it into your mailbox.
Cheap and small things use Pos Ekspres. Anyway, I would say its designated different sizes of envelopes is kinda helpful. Poslaju is a better option for more expensive items and items that need to be sent in parcel form (boxes). This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 4 2008, 12:36 AM |

QUOTE(Kaycie @ Oct 4 2008, 01:13 PM) Erm. Even bus fares have increased 30% of surcharge starting 15.09.08. Fuel price decreases or increases, not going to make any difference. Luckily, the increase for this postage rate is considered little. |

QUOTE(booklover @ Oct 18 2008, 04:26 PM) Wow! What a fast response! Thanks!! That would mean that I'd have to buy a special type of envelope from the post office? Yes, there are special Pos Ekspres envelopes available in the post office. Just buy from them. Then for poslaju, can i use any ordinary envelope or do i still need to get it from them? Really confused with post system here. If you are using Poslaju, you have to prepare all your packaging materials yourself. If you want the Poslaju sealing plastic from them, then request from them but only post offices with Poslaju centres have this. |

QUOTE(booklover @ Oct 19 2008, 01:00 AM) Well, sure can. Have you received packaging from Gdex or Skynet before? They are using some sort of plastic bag right? That was what I meant. This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 19 2008, 04:19 AM |

QUOTE(*dReaM FaNtaSy* @ Apr 24 2009, 07:23 PM) im wondering how long does it take for pos ekspress to reach from kuching sarawak to subang jaya, selangor? I received mine from Kuching to Port Dickson in one day and from Malacca to Kuching also one day. im not sure kuching is zone a b or c. but im in zone a. i tried to track but they say it doesn't exist. it has been 3 days. usually i get it in one day (zone a to zone a of course) what pisses me most is that. why is it in the website it states. you can only track after 15 days when its dijamin sampai esok for zone a? by 15 days what you wanna track? Track after 15 days? I can track on the same day after I send out my parcel. This is the link: http://www.pos.com.my/V1/main2.asp?c=/v1/T...pres/first1.asp Anyway, you misinterpreted the meaning: QUOTE Please be informed that your package information is only valid for 15 days after posting It means the record will only stay in their database for 15 days after you deliver the parcel. After that, they will remove the information. Not that you can only track after 15 days. This post has been edited by fruitie: Apr 25 2009, 03:35 PM |
