Like mentioned as a customer, I just dont like to be put into these kind of situations. I think we have our rights to be scrutinized or not and I dont think I should be subjected to this. This is called business. If I dont like the predicament Im going through, then I simply dont deal. Simple as that? Butthurt? Why are you so butthurt about my preference and view?

Improving the buying experience? I think their marketing team should be taken to task for making lifes of so many impatient Iphone 6/ 6+ buyers' life even more difficult. They should just go down with an ROI and select those who registered first based on the availability of the first batch of stocks.

To answer your question Yes, I think Celcom would have an event like last year at their Flagship store at Sunway Pyramid and I was there with a friend on the 12am launch.

I did for the 5s and Maxis did gave me one. If Im not mistaken, only MOC customers got their phones through preorder that round. Even that not all MOC customers got it.

It all depends on how much data (pictures, songs, videos, apps, games etc) you are going to bring over to the iphone 6. If you check your current iphone 5 or 5s for how much space left, it would be similar to what you have on the iphone6/ 6+ when you restore your data to the new phone.
Updates would depend on how frequent Apple needs to patch up its latesr ios. I would say with the 8, its been pretty frequent. We are on 3rd update since ios 8 was introduced.

2)Do a complete backup of your current ipbone on itunes and restore on our new iphone 6/ 6+ and voila, everything is restored.

Nope. Not installing glass as I dont like the extra thickness no matter how thin the glass sp is. But problem is I still have yet to find a good SP that covers almost the whole screen. My current cheapo Rm10 is like crap now. the edges are totally off allignment.

Couldnt blame them either. I think everyday, lotsa people walks in and asks about the iphone 6 until they are tired of answering so that guy just gave you a half hearted reply to shoo you away and keep people away from bugging them.

On the part where launch date is concerned, Iphone stocks are mostly taken by Telcos first. During the launch of the Iphone 4 till 5, only telcos have stocks while Apple authorised resellers had to wait for another 2 weeks before being allocated the stocks. That always make me wonder why people invest so much into being an Apple reseller and end up getting sidelined during new iphone launches. Only during Iphone 5s did Apple resellers got to sell them at the same time of launch together with the telcos.

Regarding warranty claims of foreign sets of iphones, Resellers would definately be reluctant in accepting your sets as they are certainly not sold by them. They would not making any profit by helping you send your unit for Rma with Apple while on the other hand having to endure your constant harrassment for when the phone can be ready for collection. If it would be so easy to claim warranty for foreign sets then people would never think twice when buying overseas sets which will affect the local resellers sales of local sets.

Got a point there. But I would put it rather as a 'ultra kiasu' mentality where everything has to be the latest, biggest, most expensive and the best money can buy mentality.

Am actually tired of people asking me when they see my Iphone 6, "Why didnt buy the 6+? Isnt the 6+ better?" question.

So when I take out my 6+, they will be quiet.
