is ip6+ very hard to handle in 1 hand? think i cant put it in pocket if i use ip6+
*
It depends if you are used to using big phones like the Note 3 or One Plus. If you are used big phones, it wont be an issue for you. It does fit jeans pockets but you wont be able to sit down comfortably on the chair with the 6+ in your pocket. nod.gif
To me its damn big. rolleyes.gif

Again, this is a picture of both my iphone 6 and 6+ stack up. You can see how much bigger the 6+ is. Please bear in mind the 6 is already much bigger than the Iphone 5/5s.

Just got it from underground_8. Nice guy! Yeah, I changed plans because it is not healthy for me to keep obsessing over when the phone would come.

So instead of sexy girl pic, here's my own shot of the phone versus 20 sen coin, to show how f***ing thin it is

Just trolling, Welcome to the club bro. Congrats on you new phone. Make sure you get a nice casing for it.

Ya I agree, having heartaches for the Iphone is UNHEALTHY. laugh.gif

So no sexy gurl pics for forummers of this thread now? sad.gif

Since it make by sapphire, does it still need protection?

Well, it is sapphire glass. But just as added precaution or ultra kiasuness, we slap on a RM10 Screen protector just incase. laugh.gif

@Tomei-R : I thought that the screen is not made by sapphire, is it?
*
Oopps. No sapphire glass for the Iphone 6 and 6 +.

Rather ion-strengthened glass screens.

Apparently the sapphire glass didnt pass the drop test by Apple. So they went for the ion-strengthened glass screens. I would say the high costs for the sapphire glass made them think otherwise. tongue.gif

Sorry again. My bad.

I settled on a Verus case, from a humble shop that people would usually not give much thought to stop by (I guess). FIFTH shop that I hunted around in one utama for!

At only RM59, this case is easy on the wallet, yet gives decent protection, on the front of the screen. Unlike any other case from the premium resellers as of now. Most youtube videos fail to demonstrate how cases protect the front.
Front.

Back. Notice the generous depth for the camera.

As if that's not enough, the bottom and top bezels have about 0.8 mm protrusion. Very welcome addition to prevent scraping the back grip.

Nice pics and reviews. Value buy at Rm59. Looking at the pictures, protection should be quite good. Rubberized grip seems decent to prevent slippage. However, nothing is perfect. I think it doesn't score on the looks department.

Just couldn't live one hour without protection eh.. brows.gif

Yeah I worry. There are reports that it bends and this guy suspects it became like that because he put too much force on the phone while applying the bumpers (because he had no idea how else it could have happened).
yeah man.... tongue.gif protect my investment. I intend to use this for many years! I learnt my lesson to not upgrade so fast. I'm still on iOS 8!

Mine also the same. Because i switched from Iphone 5s Ios to android and to another android and back to ios 8 on the same number and Iost my whatsapp messages. I couldn't download the backup from icloud and when i tried restoring from itunes, it didnt work either. So Im left with zero whatsapp backup. doh.gif

Managed to test my sister's 64GB iPhone 6 (SG set) for a very short while. Mainly tested apps I'll be using a lot.

Coming from 2 years of using a Note 2, and the past couple of weeks back to my laggy iPhone 4 on iOS 7.0.4

What I liked:
- SEXY. Slim and smooth like a woma ... Never mind. I like the feel of it in my hands. The size is perfect, not too big, not too small.
- Speed and smoothness. I must admit, I'm frustrated with my laggy iPhone 4. I probably based this point on my Note 2 vs. my iPhone 4
- very impressed with camera, took some test shots in a semi-low light condition and quite happy with how the pic turned out

What I didn't like:
- Not really impressed with the overall iOS experience as it doesn't offer anything new in the short time I sort with it. It's all very ... familiar. Maybe because I've been with Android for the past 2 years and I need to spend more time with it. It's like getting back together with your ex.

However, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I have an ex that still asks me "I'm the best right?" but that's another story that probably belongs in the Cupid's Corner section tongue.gif

- not sure what iOS my sis has on her unit but I believe she has not updated so I think it's stock. Noticed that Safari doesn't have the "Open in background" option which I have on my iOS 7

Overall, I feel like there's something missing. Like, the magic is gone.

That said, either the 6 or 6+ are still my top choices for my Note 2 replacement. I was considering Nexus 5 or 6 as well.

Need to get my hands on the 6+ For further tests and comparison

Currently borrowed my sister's 4s to get over my frustration of my laggy 4 and late Malaysian release of the 6/6+
*
I noticed you like to speak about woman a lot huh. tongue.gif

Yes, I agree the Iphone has lost its magical touch. I dont feel the magic anymore. Maybe coz other phones are as good nowadays and the iphone just dont stand out like it used to be.

QUOTE(iArvage @ Oct 19 2014, 03:29 PM)
I feel that people saying iOS is super smooth and lag free is a bit of a stretch. I have seen areas where my S4 is sometimes smoother than my 6+. Notification on my 6+ stutters while trying to swipe away if I have lots of notifications. The 'Today' view is horrendously laggy sometimes especially if you have a few apps. I just turn on Wunderlist and Calendar to avoid lag for this. I notice that things are generally smoother on the 5S than on the 6+ (Blame it on the pixels). Anyway iOS in general has some up sides to it. I think it's the fastest to launch the camera and generally very fluid. Apple still has to optimise the OS further.

A bit off initial topic: Have you guys experience sudden slowdown for the wifi? It's been getting on my nerves. Also the range of my WiFi is a bit of a letdown. No problems with devices before the 6+.
*
That i have agree with you on the lag part. Could be because like everyone said, the apps are not optimized for the iphone 6 and 6 + yet.

if the tempered glass at 0.3mm..is it too thick as a screen protector? i dont like the gap between home button and the screen >.<

i bought from him before too.. lasted me 6 months before it failed to read again.. cable is still in mint condition, just unable to read anymore.. now using romoss.. RM28 each.. 1 month usage n still good to go.. not sure how long it can last... my original apple cable used for almost 2 years.. still good..
it will depends on the home button cut out.. so far, for imos, none of the users complain 0.3mm too thick.. the only feedback for being too thick is those using Dot view case for HTC one m8 and e8. But then, now they make an option of 0.2mm which works perfectly fine with dot view.
So, it really depends on the quality of the cut out for the home button.
*
Try not to twist and curl the cables too much. Sometimes the inside are broken and you wot notice until you rip the cover apart. Apple also keep updatig their firmware to prevent people from using oem cables. tongue.gif

Anyone with their 6/6+ experiencing wifi drop issue on ios 8.0.2? I did a clean restore and reset network settings and still my wifi keeps dropping. I'm using an asus ac router....

any  icon_question.gif ?

my pc, and htc butterfly works fine without wifi drop
*
I suspect it might be your casing being too thick and protective blocking your wifi signals. Try removing the backcover and see if wifi signals improve ?

Guys, all I can say that this source is reliable. His tip also is but he did put it to me that this will still depend on Apple on stock allocation to Malaysia. Moreover I was told that their preparations for the launch are towards 1st November.

I personally called QCD and asked this : "Do you entertain warranty claim for units purchased from australia official apple store?"

His answer was : the phone has not launched yet in malaysia. But once it launches, yes they do entertain warranty claim for such units, provided we give the receipt. They do give online receipt, so I'm comfortable enough with this.
*
QUOTE(Hawaiiii @ Oct 20 2014, 10:00 AM)
Yeah no doubt even without receipt i manage to claim at mac city @ festival mall, coz i see a lot of ppl saying iphone dont have international warranty from starting until now also saying it, it really gives mislead information to ppl who want to get it earlier from outside msia.
*
Like mentioned, we have already discussed this matter on international iphone warranty multiple times and every detail has been laid out. Im not going to go into this anymore. yawn.gif
