So the movie any good? Personally I find this year best superhero is Deadpool. Second will be Apocalypse 😎 The rest can consider kinda disappointing although not all bad. So where do Dr Strange stand? Probably among its Marvel peers. Better than > Guardian / Lelaki Besi / Kapitan Amerika Syarikat? Gracias 😁

Yes, Dr. Strange will be speaking to one of them in the post-credit scene. Sure looks like someone is coming back from the death!

This coming from a non-Marvel fan.

Pros:
Visually stunning, wonder how long the CGI team spent on creating the worlds/multiverse

Very trippy experience (in a good way)

Benedict Cumberbatch is perfect for the role, as well as Tilda as Ancient One (doesn't deserve all the flak she gets)

Their costumes are awesome, love the mystical touch and the Cloak of Levitation!

Cons:
Would be better without the lame jokes
Not a very intimidating foe
Fighting scenes and climax are so-so (relies heavily on the Inception-style effect). Missing the 'epic moment'.

Overall still pretty good.
9/10

pretty nice but no wow factor. just like watching any Thor movies in MCU. Not bad, but not awesome either.

I agree it's missing the wow factor. I keep waiting for an 'epic' scene but there's none and doesn't give me emotional impact.

Overall it's the same old marvel schtick. Formulaic structure with underwritten villain that again using a highly respectable actor to portray a bad dude that don't really matter a whole lot. The effects was intriguing at first then overreaching when it hits the ending. The experience is like watching the first Ironman all over again with a different skin. Cool set-up but not enough substance to be great. Depending on you, it could be a bad thing or a good thing. At the end, it's not that movie brave enough to be above all the past MCU movies.

If WM is paralysed he won't be Iron Patriot, that's definitely Hammer Tech.
