Patrol is still good though. And public events does occurs regularly with other people you don't know teaming up.
Also people go on patrol to do small missions and gather up materials for upgrade, it's quite fun actually.

Yeah wish it was more like Mass Effect, love the codex thing and pretty much read everything.
I guess Bungie can't do much, because I heard there was too much pressure from Activision, they were more free when they made Halo and sided with Microsoft.
Grinding part is actually what makes the game feel addictive though, if not they won't play any longer. Maybe most console gamers never played MMO before, that is why they can't put the controller down.
Most of them still holding on to the games because of friends as well, if not I think most will stop playing as well. Quite boring playing alone.

LOL! MU Online, so long never heard of that one. I used to check that game out but never got into it. I back then play RO, MapleStory, Risk Your Life 2, Rakion. Most of the time.

It's more of the hype lately. But I think 2014 is quite a good year in gaming for me. Last year is definitely better. Games I enjoyed this year so far...

Lol cheese, you never had the patience to grind for gears in Diablo 3 during the early days as well. Despite it's flaw people just cant stop playing Destiny though  . The question now how long will the interest last as Bungie boast about a 10 year plan or so, wonder if it will keep people interested after 10 weeks.

Finally weekend, can play some games. Exhausted from working during the week days.

Interestingly, many of my friends (expatriates from India and / or Japan) don't play games to my surprises. Nonetheless, time for me to enjoy.

Well, in our case, clear backlog games first.

Some of my friends mostly retired besides for certain genre that they like.

I think I am the only person remaining that still actively buys game.

After working dy, need to think about buying property, car loans, car repairs etc. So think most will just stop gaming. My brothers stopped gaming after they started working (I don't think they ever bought any Steam games before. In uni and before that, they just go for pirated). Then they played Dota a lot, now they only play Dota when they are home during holidays. Otherwise, it's mostly Ipad games or PSP games.

So I'm the only one left that still play computer games (and not Dota).

Gaming is my way to relax and release stress. Thou now I stick away from too complicated and challenging games cause that increases stress.
My frens now choose to go drinking as a way to release stress.

I find my method healthier and less expensive.
