Should just keep quiet, then buy another copy of Civ BE. icon_idea.gif

Probably cheaper than the Steam store price now.

Patrol is still good though. And public events does occurs regularly with other people you don't know teaming up.
Also people go on patrol to do small missions and gather up materials for upgrade, it's quite fun actually.
I don't like the story as well, there are lots of potential but in the end put on the Grimoire card..lmao!
Yeah wish it was more like Mass Effect, love the codex thing and pretty much read everything.
I guess Bungie can't do much, because I heard there was too much pressure from Activision, they were more free when they made Halo and sided with Microsoft.
Grinding part is actually what makes the game feel addictive though, if not they won't play any longer. Maybe most console gamers never played MMO before, that is why they can't put the controller down.
Most of them still holding on to the games because of friends as well, if not I think most will stop playing as well. Quite boring playing alone.

LOL! MU Online, so long never heard of that one. I used to check that game out but never got into it. I back then play RO, MapleStory, Risk Your Life 2, Rakion. Most of the time.

It's more of the hype lately. But I think 2014 is quite a good year in gaming for me. Last year is definitely better. Games I enjoyed this year so far...
Cannot include everything, but this is my top list haha.
*
I dont know, it feels like Bungie does something then something was drastically changed until the whole game was changed. Regardless what is it now, even if Destiny comes to PC, I wont touch it with a 10 foot pole unless they overhaul it until it made Diablo Patch 2.0 looked like a small hotfix. That game isnt even good to begin with and it just grind and grind in it. It is a dull, overhyped game. If your game is relying solely on grinds to keep people playing, I dont think thats a good game because that means the core mechanics is a chore, especially how dull is rest of the game. It is like watching paint dry, it is fun with friends but not on your own.

Even on PC, i think in general, it has been a lackluster year. Transistor was good, so is South Park. AC was surprisingly good despite pathetic amount of content. Didnt play Mordor or Divinity so cant say much but there just isnt any good AAA releases so far. Probbaly Mordor will fill the void but I dont have funds for it now.

Lol cheese, you never had the patience to grind for gears in Diablo 3 during the early days as well. Despite it's flaw people just cant stop playing Destiny though  tongue.gif . The question now how long will the interest last as Bungie boast about a 10 year plan or so, wonder if it will keep people interested after 10 weeks.
*
I have a couple of decent character in D3. It is just that I just wont spend my time grinding a game like a second job if there isnt a story, gameplay or something interesting to keep me interested other than the grind itself. I have a job and I do not want a second one in a game with no income especially games that wants to grind and grind with repetitive gameplay just to get that gear that give 3% better stats.

I rather have games that gave me everything with solid gameplay than forcing me to go through the grind tree to obtain them slowly. I dont need grind to keep me interested but I appreciate good gameplay instead of just solely grind.

It looked interesting but the trailer really doesnt tell much about the game.

I also dont know whether i wont like or really fell in love with it as I havent even played anything like that but what is shown so far seemed to be a potentially interesting game.

It is meant to be scientific and clear, not imagination to learn.

Or maybe he is from art stream? sweat.gif

On Steam. For the life of me, I can't find any links on the front page of Steam.

EDIT: For example, this game is a Weekend Deal. But I can't find any info about it on the main page. sad.gif

I think you might need to check the Steam store page every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. It is very hard to keep up to be honest.

There is also the Specials page on Steam that list everyone on sale in random order.

Anyway, thanks for your help!
*
Or what you can do. Put any games you want on your wishlist so that you can check what are the games are on sale on that list.

Thats what I do now as I cant be bothered to look for games through the long list of specials.

Finally weekend, can play some games. Exhausted from working during the week days.

Interestingly, many of my friends (expatriates from India and / or Japan) don't play games to my surprises. Nonetheless, time for me to enjoy.
*
I think you'll probably notice that a lot of people had stopped gaming once they working.

We are probably the few odd ones or the stubborn ones. Probably might be time to consider retiring too.

Slowing down d. I kinda cut a lot of genres now since I have no time to play them.

Destiny is just plain garbage. It shouldnt even be out at its current stage after spending 500 mil on it.

QUOTE(kianweic @ Oct 25 2014, 11:19 AM)
True also.

Well, in our case, clear backlog games first.
*
I admit, I kinda gave up clearing my backlog. I just buy the stuff I really want to play now and concentrate on a handful of genres.

QUOTE(limjenson @ Oct 25 2014, 11:51 AM)
Some of my friends mostly retired besides for certain genre that they like.

I think I am the only person remaining that still actively buys game.
*
I also just mostly staying for certain genres. I just find it hard to find time to play a full 50 hours rpg.

QUOTE(ChocChristy @ Oct 25 2014, 11:58 AM)
After working dy, need to think about buying property, car loans, car repairs etc. So think most will just stop gaming. My brothers stopped gaming after they started working (I don't think they ever bought any Steam games before. In uni and before that, they just go for pirated). Then they played Dota a lot, now they only play Dota when they are home during holidays. Otherwise, it's mostly Ipad games or PSP games.

So I'm the only one left that still play computer games (and not Dota).
*
No, it not about buying property, cars or anything else. It is more like after a long days work, you are just too tired to play anything that needs thinking a lot. Thats partly why im leaning towards racing games cause you dont need to think much. Just drive and enjoy the journey while it is a very good stress relief genre.

I want to get Witcher 3/Call of Duty Advanced Warfare/Far cry 4 but I really doubt I got the time to play it.

I do play a lot on iPad, mainly FTL, XCOM or Space Hulk because it feels so good there.

Gaming is my way to relax and release stress. Thou now I stick away from too complicated and challenging games cause that increases stress.
My frens now choose to go drinking as a way to release stress.

I find my method healthier and less expensive.

I stopped going after I found out that one tower of Heineken cost like RM100+ in Malaysia. Go plough themselves with that kind of price tag.

I remember buying one huge keg in Australia was like $50 and I can share it with like 6 people for the whole night.
