-The exosuits are fun, and reinvigorate a stale franchise.
-Multiplayer maps are superb.
-Campaign isn't totally rubbish.
-Some weapons are overpowered.

Looks like a good port and a pretty good game. Tempted to buy now as for once, Activision released a CoD I want to play. It feels so much like UT2004 in some ways.

God damn, now im tempted. I kinda expected that the port to be shit so I can play Valkyria Chronicles while they fix it.

Seemed to be the best CoD in years. Good port, new movement system and good maps too.

Might pick it up tonight.

I doubt Ghost was a good port. 6GB RAM lock and it wont launch unless you have 6 GB but it only used 2GB at most. Visually looked like crap while gameplay isnt much different from MW3 while runs terribly. IW's COD, are notorious for very poor ports but Treyarch ports are much better. Probably 3 years development will help Treyarch to do an even better CoD. AW is the first CoD with 3 years development time instead of 2 where the quality does show this time.

I dont buy CoDs but I do play them in a few free weekends. BO2 was decent but I had performance issues but Ghost was bad. It feels really dull to me in a lot of ways. Dont assume that I dont know whats going on with previous games. I know more about BO2 than MW2 which I own.

AW comes with FoV sliders on day 1 with 23 other graphical options that literally blow Ghost's limited graphical options out of the water. And no FoV lock to 60 like MW3 as that is way too low until I get a bit dizzy.

I watched a lot of gameplay for this CoD because how much it reminds me of UT2004 as it has double jump, jump dodge, even a Link Gun and Thumper clone, maps with a lot of verticality and a game mode that is very similar to Bombing Run. The same awesome Pick 10 mode is back, which I like it in BO2. On top of that, Crysis suit like abilities. Im pretty convinced that this CoD will be good or at least better than Ghost by a mile.

Really hate that they bundled the Zombies mode in the Season Pass though.

Avoid Ghost, thats probably the worst game in the series.

Just because you never had issues with COD games doesnt mean the port is good. Some games, namely MW3 and Ghost are the worst among all. I cant even play MW3 multiplayer because it makes me feel like puking.

A lot of people had issues with it due to the half hearted attitude of IW in their PC ports. At least Treyarch and SH is more concern about player's feedback and enjoyment.

For CoH, just play CoH1 campaigns, minus the Tales of Valor campaign. There is a good Tiger camapign with persistent upgrade that can be finished in 2 hours though in ToV.

CoH2, dont bother with the Russian campaign. You'll probably fell a sleep playing. Theater of War mission packs are much nice.

Hopefully that will shorten up your time in CoH2.

I like the German campaign in CoH1:Opposing Front the most. It was quite bitter at the end in some ways but they made it feel like the characters you follow are actually humans with families serving for their country during WW2. The German Tiger mission is quite unique but ignore the other 2 ToV campaigns, they kinda suck actually.

British campaign also not too bad as they do have some very nice missions. American one starts slow but it is pretty good too.

If you are not intending to play CoH2 for skirmish or multiplayer or did not buy Theater of War packs, I would have advise you not to get CoH2. It is quite a waste of money cause the campaign is really really bad. Maybe you can keep it for Ardennes Assault in the future when its cheaper, that one is shapping up to be interesting.

I had to admit, CoH2 is quite good now, especially they overhauled the infantry gun profiles and also the pathfinding and cover AI. It is quite fun even if you choose to play on solo. Multiplayer wise, it is still a mess unless you play 1v1 or 2v2.

I admit this is the first CoD that I am genuinely interested in but I am concern about the hackers. Not sure will there be a lot of hackers.

Yeah, it is a bit like Titanfall or a fast paced shooters. Titanfall was alright as I didnt like the maps or at least that one that was in Beta.

CoD has always been the jump in and jump out sort of FPS to me. It isnt very deep in anyway but it is just plain silly fun.

Well, you can always choose not go give them tablets or phones. Knowing how exploitative and manipulative are those mobile games, I'll never give a child a phone or tablet as that isnt even stuff that I want to play myself. A PC or console, especially a Wii U is fine as you can easily monitor it and there are considerably lesser games like those exploitative games on mobile. Total Biscuit who makes his living off playing games on youtube, he also limit his 8 years old child gaming influence to only Wii U because he knows there are a lot of terrible games out there. It is always a parents duty to monitor their child. I started gaming since 5 and I didnt really think it is that bad for me. At least it helped me to learn English at early stages, allowed me to know how to fix computers better and generally more adapt with electronics while it is a good hobby if it is played in moderation, I dont think it is all bad. At the same time, being successful doesnt mean you'll be happy.

If I were you, I wont even start grand strategy as even 4Xs are pretty time consuming. I will never go into grand strategy because they are far more time consuming than games like Civ V. Just dont have the time these days. I dont have much time to play these days and I am narrowing down to focus mainly on racing and strategy games these days. Unless there are some decent games from other genre popping out, like CoD AW that looked decent, I am intending to stick to those 2 genres only. No more MMO and any grind or commitment heavy games as I do not have time for that. if your game needs me to come back at a certain time, consider me not your customer because I dont want games to control my habits.

I just cant imagine me without games. Considering I am forever alone, I guess i'll just keep on playing till the end of time.
