my n73 hanged today when i snap a photo of my friend
and i try closing the camera using the task manager
but then still cannot solve the problem
In the end , i need to plug off the battery to reboot the whole phone
now abit "Sam Tong" heart pain ><
and my gallery hang always

Maybe you'd consider bringing it to Nokia Care Centre and let them take a look?

anyone can recommend a program similiar to turbo msn to me for this phone ? cant seem to get one right for this phone.. besides that any other programs that is a must install app for this phone? thanks

Hi. Yes, you can bring to any nokia care centre. I've checked the local malaysian Nokia Website, and the address you've mentioned is part of the nokia care centre.
Backup your memory card, phone numbers etc.
Remember to bring along your warranty card and receipt.
Also, be prepared to leave your phone there for some time. I went to the Amcorp Centra (Mobile Technic Sdn Bhd). I had to leave my phone for 2 hrs!
Btw, do you have anti-virus? My phone was pre-loaded with anti-virus (i think it was called F-Secure or something like that). However, after bringing my phone back to the centre, it was missing. They said they can't re-install whatever software that's not by Nokia.

At first yes, now so used to it d, can slide it out easily.

Mine hanged after video recording it for 5 minutes
Last night hanged again when I was about to enter gallery.
The other day hanged while I tried to make a phone call.
So should I bring it back to the retailer in IOI or should I bring to a Nokia Care Centre like u guys? One guy told me I have too many pictures and recordings inside and the memory too little thats why hanged

Don't know if u guys noticed but the N73 Camera and the Gallery is extremely buggy. For example, I can take 3 pirctures and it crashes 3 times.. but on other occassions, i can take like 10 and no crashes. Here's what i noticed also, it usually crashes when i take pics in Macro mode.

ok, the gallery display is messed up. It only shows the first pic correct.. All the rests are pixelated.

If u're wondering if I have tons of pics in my memory card, then u're wrong. At anytime, I never have more than 20 pics in it.

Very frustrated but i'm not about to sell and change to k800. Too many fanboys over that camp.

One thing for sure, the Nseries are extremely problematic. First the N80, now this. Bleh..

i am about to get one this weekend...but all these problems really gives me the creeps...

Mine had probs initially (hang, cannot zoom, whenever someone calls suddenly auto re-start etc). After going to the nokia care centre, it seems ok but the camera is still giving me some problems and usually lagging.
Nevertheless, I still LOVE my phone!

I got the 1GB SD card. Are you folks also using the same memory size or the original smaller memory card size?

Seems like the video and image capture still a problem for N73. Any firmware upgrade?

Guys, try this out on u'r N73. In the camera app, set to save all pictures in the PHONE memory. After that, try to take some pictures. See if u can crash the phone. I tried it out on mine and there's absolutely no lag. Zero crashes as well.

I'm going to try to replace my 1Gb card with the built in 128Mb card and see if the phone crashes in the camera.

mine also got this lagging camera problem ..i sent it back for repair at nokia service centre ..and they told me that this N73 has so many bugs hopefully they will release new firmware

ok, i just replaced my 1Gb mini SD with the 128Mb one. The lag after u snap a picture is so much reduced now. Don't believe me, try it out u'rself. The 1Gb card i have is the Transcend 80X one.

I'm sticking with my 128Mb card now. Maybe I'll grab myself a 256Mb one?? I think the 512Mb card will lag just like the 1Gb. I can't imagine what'll happen if i put a 2Gb card inside. What a shame. Damn u Nokia.

Well I'm using a SanDisk 2GB card, lags da same as the 128MB which came with my phone

^ Then my Transcend must be really sucky. How much is u'r 2Gb Sandisk?

So the laggy thing ang hanged is to do with the memory card?? Using 128MB only
My phone OK lah not so laggy like u all claim. Only hanged up 3 times.
