QUOTE(MADReaLJL @ Sep 29 2006, 02:51 PM) QUOTE(stevenlys @ Sep 29 2006, 04:09 PM) For the 1st problem that's definitely a light sensor function(For battery saving function) i don't think it's the sensor. you see, whenever you press a button, whether day or night, bright or dim, the keypad will light up. in my case, it won't. sometimes ok, sometimes not. When you at the ourdoor during day time or indoor with bright light, the keypad light will off automatically . If i not mistaken the instruction guide listed there what~~ |

i was planning to get a crystal casing for my n73 but hearing wat happened to grayfox, kinda scary. the crystal casing that you guys bought...there are 2 versions that i manage to find. the difference is at the back where the camera slide is.
the first one, the opening for the camera slide extends all the way from the lens to the bottom, while the other one have 2 smaller openings which doesn't connect. may i know which one you guys are using? |

QUOTE(spookie @ Oct 5 2006, 01:14 AM) Hi, can you share with us your solution? i did this to mine:Do you notice any particular incident whereby your phone turns off by itself? Mine happened whenever ppl called me and if I was using mp3 ringtone. After sending it to nokia service centre (2 times in one month), so far so good... Only prob I still have is when trying to zoom in on pics....and it says something like memory full, close some applications (but I'm not running other apps). My temp solution which worked once was to switch off and on my hp again...hahaha 1. change the call log from default 30 days to 24 hours. 2. turning off 3D sounds after i did this, phone seems to be ok. but the keypad backlight problem is still bothering me. i'm actually suspecting my minisd card to be the culprit. when i use the original 128MB, the keypad backlight doesn't act up but when i change to a 1gb minisd, the prob starts again. weird... |

QUOTE(jeg_elsker @ Oct 5 2006, 02:23 PM) off topic, LoL... dualshock, i like your signature ^^. thanks... Regarding the keypad backlighting problem, can it be the memory issue that occured in most of the new symbian phones? (like S60 3rd edition, and UIQ3.0). Btw, what's your miniSD brand? i hope the memory issue that you mentioned can be fixed by a firmware upgrade. i've tried 3 types of minisd, 128MB is the ori ones, 1GB by kingston and pendrive. |
