I just ordered the 64GB Sandstone Black model through Groupon, RM1299. The reason why I bought this is because, it's just too tempting. I've never tried CyanogenMod before, and this will be my very first. So far, through the videos on YouTube, it has been great. I'm just too lazy to look through the pages before this for any other issues that others have encountered with. So, I just want to get myself prepared. Anything that I should be paying extra caution or attention on after my unit arrives? Call me stupid or whatever, because I know I might be regretting after getting this if there's any real troublesome issues with it. I just want to try things out. So, I'm a newbie here. you could have just gone straight to the shops (e.g. directd, satu gadget, dialoghub) and have the phone readily available, and also save a few bucks.

with groupon, not only are you paying something like RM50 extra, you also now have to wait 20 days and not certain you get one without the yellow tint...

groupon deals are never as good as they seem wan, newbie...

If u got eyes, hands and legs to order from groupon then u also can find out info on your own. If u want spoonfeeding only wife or mother can do that for u. Nobody will say u r stupid, but just plain lazy. We only help people who can help themselves, so best advise to give u is get off that lazy ass of yours.

Quite decent standby time already. Does it include 3g or purely WiFi?

Paging Ringke Fusion user here, just wanna ask is the case tight enough to cover the side? I watched the youtube review video, and the reviewer reported that the side isn't tight enough. sweat.gif

Thinking to change my diztronic to Ringke as the back of the diztronic dont seem to provide much grip for me.

Just got my hands on opo international version. Was scared about putting in micro SIM, (the ejection tool part), and the charging part. Wow, so tight, its normal? Time to check on nice cover and screen protector, kinda waste applying them, but, new phone, better becareful. hmmm...

Guys, noob question here.

I plan to fresh clean install CM11s. Since my OPOs are still fresh out of the box and i havent use it yet. Can i skip the "Backing up all data with Titanium Backup" step?

Is it possible to do the fresh clean install process without inserting the SIM 1st?

yes. since you never used the phone and its new, skip the TB, Nandroid and SD card backup. EFS backup is still recommended tho.

its tight enough. the youtube vid one if prolly defective batch, the white clear ones especially i heard had a bad batch.

however i prefer my diztronic over it. i just can't stand the fingerprint smudges on the ringke's back. just a personal preference. if you can't stand smudges like me i would suggest avoid the ringke.
