Thanks for the input bro. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(retsmot @ Oct 27 2014, 03:48 PM)
its tight enough. the youtube vid one if prolly defective batch, the white clear ones especially i heard had a bad batch.

however i prefer my diztronic over it. i just can't stand the fingerprint smudges on the ringke's back. just a personal preference. if you can't stand smudges like me i would suggest avoid the ringke.
*
Bad lemon batch. laugh.gif

Overall diztronic is good, but just (maybe to me) it didn't provide much grip to my hand. I got a couple near fall experience with diztronic. The back seems bit too smooth to me. sweat.gif That's the reason why I'm thinking to change a case. I usually used only 1 case per hp changing cycle, but probably not for this time. laugh.gif I dont always keep the phone on my hand, I think not really a problem to me on the smudges.

I just ordered the 64GB Sandstone Black model through Groupon, RM1299. The reason why I bought this is because, it's just too tempting. I've never tried CyanogenMod before, and this will be my very first. So far, through the videos on YouTube, it has been great. I'm just too lazy to look through the pages before this for any other issues that others have encountered with. So, I just want to get myself prepared. Anything that I should be paying extra caution or attention on after my unit arrives? Call me stupid or whatever, because I know I might be regretting after getting this if there's any real troublesome issues with it. I just want to try things out. So, I'm a newbie here. Guide me!  icon_idea.gif
*
if you not that lazy and readup the info here before you buy you will not buy from groupon. not only their price is not cheap (most reputable store here is selling around 1279 only for 64gb) and they offer 1 year warranty only. Most local ap set offer 2 year warranty and notfrom some shady groupon seller. again if you're lazy then anything will be issue for you

Haha, ok. Long time no use new phones since galaxy S2, gonna rape it.

BTW, anyone using Pelosi Sandstone Shield? or Original Nillkin Frosted Super Shield?

Interested in above, any comment? Probably i just get one and try myself, very subjective this question.  sweat.gif

I'm using the Pelosi Sandstone Shield. Love is so much compared to the Imak Clear Case.

Previously was using Imak. It's a fingerprint magnet.

Well....that's my personal preference. If u can't stand fingerprints, best to avoid the Imak n I guess similar case like the Ringke as well.

easiest way:
install logcat
set it to error logging, or it will log everything
open the app, reproduce the error
close the app
save the logs produced in logcat
sent to xxdesire
wait for her to do the debugging

for grips then maybe ringke and cruzerlite for u. the case's sides are shiny(?), grippy tpu(?), pretty hard to slip.

i find the cruzerlite power/volume buttons are notoriously hard to press tho, even tho it has cutouts. ringke buttons is the best. smile.gif when press got audible 'tack tack' sound, very good.

The app is ok, its the background process.. from time to time it dies after 38R upgrade. I suspect it might be some sync issues with the app etc. Maybe I should try uninstall and reinstall back and see.
