It's the same thing actually, just way of updating the system.

That's why i said earlier, just fastboot and flash to the newest signed fastboot package is the fastest no need wait for OTA or sideload  sweat.gif

I'll just post the cyngn 38R fastboot download link below.

laugh.gif laugh.gif thanks lol. I guess sideloading is for those who haven't gotten their OTA prompt yet..

btw, to stay with 33R.. or go for 38R?

Some of our OPO member revert back to 33R from 38R, heard there's battery and random reboot issue earlier sweat.gif

I'm sticking to 38R for now, doesn't have random reboot issue for now and battery wise i don't really care. Not into super long life race whistling.gif

Still stock CM11S lockscreen, don't really like to mod / mess with the phone too much except for adblock and system tweak tools laugh.gif

done.

wait wut when I wipe the whole phone and reflash to 33R I'll still need to reroot again?  shocking.gif  but bootloader will forever be unlocked if i don't lock it back right
*
Can just straight flash rooted stock rom. Saves the time of rerooting.

Seems official to me, that file download server point back to cyngn also. XDA and Official OPO forum also said no idea why cyngn not updating their download link.

I tried flashing mine with the file few days ago and it works.

lolz...

yes, this is one of the unique features. it's listed on the specs at Page 1. but i think alarm needs to be at least 5 mins before you power down the phone. biggrin.gif
