2017 & 2018 model is different from exterior and interior, no? You don't realized it when collecting the car?

By the way, for the VIN checker provided above, I did checked on my Mazda 6, the 10 digit is H represent 2017 and the 11 digit is 0 represent country of origin Japan. This is correct for my car. But your car is not correct.

AFAIK, there has only been one G2 type ever released in Malaysia and this year all is CKD. Mine is definitely G2 in and out. No other face-lifts have been released. Same specs on all according to variants.

There are no such thing as Mazda CX-5 (KF) Malaysia has CBU unit. All are CKD in Kulim, Kedah. Ask that person that told you about your car is CBU to read more Paultan article. Those SA are really smacking themself.

probably mounting issue? mine don't have though, or maybe i'm not as sensitive as you to notice the vibration...

send back to the SC and ask them to re-calibrate it?

First result I got from Google is engine mounting issue. Not sure if that's the issue but I am gonna ask SC to check it during my first 1k service this weekend.

It's very subtle, not very obvious and does not happen all the time. But when it happens, it's so uncomfortable. Usually it happens when the car is idling, stopping at traffic lights or slowing down with low RPM like 500-600 RPM.

sorry to hear about your predicament @voncrane. all we want as a consumer is just to get what we pay/ask for with our money. why is it so hard sometimes sad.gif i hope you can get a settlement with bermaz.

if they really did hanky panky to get 2018 on the RC card, i think Bermaz should be more at fault. i dont think dealers are able to do such thing.

Buy from Bermaz or branch is the most reliable. The discount they offered just a little lower compared to dealer.

One of the dealers told me that other dealer can give low price is because they sell the older/test drive cars.

I mean if your car is cbu, that's belong to very first batch. After bermaz start CKD program on CX 5, there is no more cbu unit. But in your case, also not make sense because exterior and interior are big different.

Update us in your finding.

Wow, after reading this thread, i am speechless man. So sorry to hear your facing this trouble. Cant believe Bermaz itself did these. What about other owners that facing similar issue, their cars were from Bermaz or dealers?

Sad to hear the story about Bermaz. Seems like they are really desperate. Just escalate this to paultan so that they will it serious and a wake up call for them.

Yea by right it's there but there's no such sticker. Only the tyre pressure sticker. Mine is 2.0 GLS though.

Mine also same with you, couldn't find such sticker around the area. And I think i am with you too, both getting the car from Mazda Kepong dealer.

However please check on your Delivery Order (DO) form, there is "Chassis No" being listed there, may I know if this "Chassis No" same with "VIN" number ? becoz it is exactly 17 digit long character.

Look like I might be encountering the same too, my 10 character octet value is "H", which if true mean that may car was also from year of 2017 ??? mega_shok.gif mega_shok.gif
