Engine wise is still the same...
There aren't a huge difference compared with the old one but one thing tht is immediately noticeable is the NVH which is better than the old one IMO...

Yep. Generally diesel cars cost more in maintenance but better in fuel efficiency. Diesel cars have those filters and stuff. If not mistaken they use more engine oil also. Tambah lagi, ini is turbo diesel...the turbo part also need maintenance.

Previously I was told diesel car cost 1.5x to 2x more compared to petrol car in terms of maintenance.

Hmm, reading this i think i should just stick to petrol rather than the torquey diesel. Plus often going back hometown which is in Kelantan, to find euro 5 aling east cost is going to be a problem at least for now.

Like the diesel more because of the torque and safety features. Plus it comes with a nicer LCD meter. đŸ˜‚

If you travel a lot diesel might suit u since it gives best FC and torque haha. Downside is the maintenance cost and euro 5 availability.

Nope.. Decided on Meteor Gray cuz easier to maintain and doesn't look too dirty after rainfall or a week or 2 no wash.. Plus, went to showroom to see DC Blue in person and could immediately see swirls and light scratches very prominent looking. And this is the polished display car.. Imagine a daily driver.. Yes it dcb definitely looks better but I'm not willing to invest that much time to maintain it. I wash the car myself.. Won't be doing no expensive coating too.. Bought protect/sealant and wax to apply later.

I disliked that rectangular meter in circle housing.. Plus not colored.. Love the colored full circle meter on the diesel. LKAS is quite good too and keeping one within the lanes.. Should save against microsleep and alert sure wake you up.. smile.gif.. I also feel the same, diesel will help with long distant driving.. Just find the nearest Euro 5 station before you enter the state proper or even within the state. Mazda, Petronas, Shell, Petron, Bhp, etc.. All their websites have updated lists of specific Euro 5 stations with exact locations across the country and it's accurate. FC is great.. I've driven 3xx km and only used up 2/8 of the tank.. Means way more that half tank still left and this is with 80% city driving. If my previous car, by now, I'll surely be looking for a petrol station for refill.. So really, no regrets.. Especially that effortless torque.. thumbup.gif

Oh yeah, for those who may be wondering.. I was scared before of getting wheelspins in the rain.. Cuz fwd and much torque..But nope.. None so far.. So all good.

We all wish they have full spec petrol and more specs as per Japan or Australia.. TBH, if not for being able to save over 10k instantly.. I would have waited till next year or FL.. But since I've been in the market for a new car for at least 2 years and previous car showing its age.. It was a no brainer to buy now. 10k plus savings off loan interest rates is huge.

Hmm I don't like how the brake feels. I can feel the strong return feedback after I release and there's this "thud" sound. Gonna ask them to do something on my first 1k service.

This is my 1st car with EPB, the "thud" sound and the strong feedback are really bummer.
Sometimes the car seems to reverse a few cm when I engaged the EPB, but so far luckily never reverse into anything yet.

I just did my 10k servicing at Bermaz Glenmarie yesterday and forgot to ask the SA to check the EPB doh.gif

EPB seems okay. Pretty consistent. Never encountered the case where it reversed a few cm behind even on slopes.

But the car brake "thud" sound and strong brake feedback annoys me. I thought my car is the only one with that sweat.gif

Can anyone recommend a good tint shop in klang valley? and also what tint are you using for this car?

Got my car last week, everything good except the tint which is a big disappointment. Can't believe we had to pay 2k for it.

Top 1 complain is the tint sweat.gif if KV you can try B1 Puchong or this bro here: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3025312

They give pretty good price for 3M Crystalline tint.

likely that the service agent will tell you that this is normal and is available across the board.

yeah, mine too has this sound but not so much of a big deal to me when you turn an eye off.
