In fact i got MBB Amex as my second card to cover misses from HLB Wise... UOB is my third card for occasional big spending. I will take a look at HLB essential then smile.gif Easy waiver?
*
why get HLB Essential? it has RM100 AF and RM100 minimum retail transactions in a month to qualify for the cash back.

OCBC Blue/Pink is more simpler? no AF. no minimum spend to qualify for cashback.

Anyone knows about the 30% dining cashback, for the 3 transactions on weekday, is it based on transaction date or posting date?

I believe HLB most likely based on posting date but I can't find the concrete terms in T&C. Maybe I missed out? Anyone?
*
very very likely it's based on posting date since HLB tends to recognize eligibility with actual charged amount instead of transacted amount (can be cancelled by user or merchant)

the whole T&C clause #6 mention about posting of transactions to the card.

again, HLB's product managers doesnt learn from customer's complaints, especially on transaction date vs posting date. doh.gif

Anyone can confirm if reload touch n go card at tesco extra at IOI city mall if using wise card, will it categorise as groceries? I just reload 200 using my uob one card n waiting to see if it ll fall under groceries. Not yet try with wise card yet.
*
Tesco @ IOI City Mall is under GROCERY category.

wait, they finally offer TnG reload now? back in January, they havent have reload service yet sweat.gif if you could reload with UOB One card, that means they allow to reload using CC! rclxms.gif

Nope, you are wrong on this, product manager do know their products as they are the people that come out with a product.
Is their duty to mislead customers.
At any 1 time they know better than us on each product being released.
Or are you trying to tell others that a product are being released by loan manager doh.gif
*
good for you.

no missed call, i going to call them later.
*
u requested to terminate the card. what are you expecting from their call?

if u want waiver, very unlikely, so it comes back to the question again, what do u want from their callback actually?

*
oh, they can! give you 2K max spend with 5% cashback brows.gif

whatever they're offering now, let's pray they dont cancel or revise it. 'sides, not everyone can afford to own this card due to high cashback eligibility barrier (RM50x10 trans)

so , conclusion is, for those who previously receive the hard copy and want to ask for the soft copy pls aware the charge hlb system can't terminate the hard copy delivery for you when you request the soft copy or email statement delivery just like other bank eg cimb..etc
*
not really, in my case.

when HLconnect introduced eStatement option, the cancelation of hardcopy bill was "ticked" by default (and no way to change it) sweat.gif

ever since i chose eStatement, no more hardcopy bill sent to me.

perhaps your case is due to some specific reasons.

in feb i ask for cancellation, but they said the RM50 cannot be waived eventhough i have not activated my card yet?

is this true? i really need to clear the GST to cancel card???!!!

just got my new card approved on december.
sales officer told me that when i swipe 1x each card, i will get RM50 rebate.
but when am i gonna receive the RM50????

sad.gif
*
rclxub.gif i'm a bit confused how many HLB cards you gotten approved? one in December, another in January?

'bout RM50 rebate (new signup), it should be credit back in 1-2 months. in my case, i got my card approved in end-June, rebate credited 1 month later in July.
