just curious.

how do i use pay.maxis and pay my sister's Maxis account

(aka paying on-behalf of my sis' Maxis line using my HLB Wise card?)

1) the phone number should be my sis' Maxis number?
2) how about billing info (name, address, email)? my sis' address?

I'm currently setting up/registering pay.maxis and it wanted to charge RM1.00. Should i proceed?

ok, first time registration ....

Step 1 & Step 2 (account & billing info): the name & mobile number of maxis account (my sis'). For the email, i put mine so that i receive notifications via email. SMS notification went to the maxis number (my sis') In short, both of us receiving notifications once payment completed

Step 3 (card info): my details (since i'm using my card)


i only made 1 payment since this is Bill 1 (RM15.30 only) after port-in. next month would only be able to make split payment.

you're kidding, right? this card is darn good for petrol! remember to only use the card at pump, not inside the outlet.

may I know what's the reason of u getting this card anyway?

if 10x RM50 (any transactions) already achieved, then you've 'activated' the cashback for the chosen categories (Petrol/Utilities) + bonus category (Mobile)

be mindful that transactions eligible for cashback MUST matches MCC... NOT just simply any utilities/petrol (inside counter).

all transactions must be posted in calendar month.

here's as simple as it gets, i hope

Activate Cashback: 10x RM50 transactions, anything, everything
10% Cashback: Any transactions with MCC within chosen+bonus categories.

example:
You can have 1000x RM50 transactions, but the 10% cashback (RM100 cap/limit) still depends on whether the transactions falls within categories.

chances of waive is LOW.

GST only applicable to Annual Fee: RM160 for Gold and RM300 for Platinum. After GST, payable Annual Fee is RM160+9.60 (Gold) and RM300+18 (Platinum)

Your cashback is not affected nor your spending using the card.

what's what i did too

no time to visit branch or booth. fill up the form, the agent will call you in 1-2 days. they'll do some quick verifications with about your income, etc etc. then brief you about the card's features, T&Cs, cashback, etc etc.

they will then advise you to prepare documents, e.g. epf printout, payslips, etc

then they email you the card brochure, application form, etc etc


fill all up, and email back to the agent. they will call you back to followup and verify your documents.

you choose your 2 categories. 3rd bonus category is default for MOBILE.

your rebate only given to 6 transactions WITHIN selected categories (2 chosen + 1 bonus).

as long as you own the card.
