as mentioned by cashie above, there's a hlb wise booth at ioi mall puchong with free gifts on the spot (2 pcs gsc tickets + car phone/gps grip) after submission of your application. if you apply for dual/combo/supp, can also get a car detoxifier after accumulated rm2k retail spend within 60 days.

if i were you, i will just go to apply and get the free gifts on the spot. if later they found out you have two separate applications/submission, they still will only approve one hlb wise to you. but the difference is you already get your free gifts. lol...

just bring your ic (and your thumb) because they have the epf machine there. that's all. lol...

should be the same free gifts as what i mentioned for the ioi mall (because that's the current promo gifts). but the only thing is we not sure hlb wise booth still have the booth at the giant at usj 1.

seems like the free gifts at the booth at ioi mall are more interesting. lol... depends on individual actually.

as mentioned before, they have separate terminal for phone purchase and bill payment. so you are not entitled for the 10%.

did you sign up this combo because of a certain free gifts?

the reason i asked is because there's a certain free gift offered only meant for the combo cards.
which means if you take the free gift, you are actually applying for 2 cards.

of course, no matter what, the salesperson is at the wrong side for either:
1) ticked another card for you without your acknowledgement
2) never inform you about the free gift that comes with 2 cards application

what you can do now is to report to hlb (or even to bnm) to take action against the unethical salesperson.

yeah, that's how the gsc rebate works for this cc. it's not direct cashback/discount upon purchase.
