Wah really?  shocking.gif  Great for Android user! Android really need offline GPS.

Though, still can't beat faster GPS connection in Nokia while offline icon_idea.gif

To be honest, the fast GPS locking speed have nothing to do with your OS. sweat.gif

If your Lumia device is using Qualcomm SoC, while Android device also using Qualcomm SoC, when you try compare both together, the locking speed is the same. Is nothing to do with either Windows Phone OS or Android OS. doh.gif

Unless you tell me the Android device is China OEM made powered by Mediatek SoC.

Perhaps you can try Lumia 530, the cheapest one, purposely to tryout the system.
Though, lack of auto focus camera, magnetometer,  for me it is quiet problem in cheap Lumia 530.
If you want that feature, maybe Lumia 735 suite you.

Auto Focus Camera not deal breaker for me as I don't use budget device to expect shoot awesome picture anyway.

Magnet Sensors also not deal breaker for me which I don't use flip magnet cover.

What was the price of Lumia 530? Recently I read a news of new Microsoft Branded Lumia 535 coming to Malaysia shore too. The Lumia 535 is the successors of Lumia 530. hmm.gif

Yes, owning black Lumia 925 totally worth it, good cams, good body, smooth, great sound almost audiophile MP3 player level, GPS features that beat Garmin rclxm9.gif, it get even better if you own Windows 8.1 desktop.

I think you missed out the Nokia HERE offline navigation have arrived for Android. doh.gif

Meanwhile, anyone got any recommendation for Entry-level Lumia device? Wanna try WP8.1

Hi NightFelix! We are in the same boat here!

I have been thinking buying a WP as my 2nd phone. hmm.gif
My target should be Lumia 630 (RM399 at satugadjet/directd).
Lumia 630 has superior specs than 530 (RM299). brows.gif

If I am satisfied with WP, then later maybe I'll be upgrading to Lumia 1020 or 930 or 1520.

Still thinking.... and got a lot of questions to be asked to WP oldtimer forumer here.. rclxms.gif

AND,,,
About HERE Maps on Android, that shouldn't be a big problem.
Even without HERE Maps, I use Sygic (Cracked) for offline navigation and it never fails me. thumbup.gif

Lumia numbering model kinda confuse to choose from Low-entry to Mid-ranger.

Maybe I should buy a second hand unit of Low-entry Lumia instead of getting a new one, but problem is, low-entry can't experience the ClearBlack feature, PureView etc.

Price from Directd.
Nokia Lumia 735 - RM899 (Mid-Ranger)
Nokia Lumia 530 DualSIM - RM299 (Low-Entry)
Nokia Lumia 930 - RM1659 (Flagship)
Nokia Lumia 630 DualSIM - RM399 (Low-Entry)
Nokia Lumia 1520 - RM1599 (Phablet Flagship)

I think only Lumia 735 is the cheapest Lumia that have PureView camera to experience. Lemme think first. doh.gif and I think Nokia HERE is much more smartphone friendly compare to Sygic you talking about.

Oh. Thanks for the head up. I'm still new to Lumia model.

Judging from the spec Lumia 735 VS Lumia 830. Only 8GB VS 16GB Internal Storage, Front Camera, Pureview/OIS capable, 4.7" AMOLED vs 5.0" LCD only. Lumia 735 seems a better deal.

If you are considering to buy used/secondhand Lumia to experience the PureView or ClearBlack, then Lumia 920/925 are the best choice here.

The current market price for used L920: RM400-550 while for L925: RM550-650 depending on phone conditions/seller..
I have changed my mind, right now I am hunting for a used L920/L925 especially the YELLOW one biggrin.gif
My priority should be for the PureView alone, mannn I can't stand Nexus 4 terrible camera anymore cry.gif

Anyway, both L920/L925 are almost the same..
L920: cheaper/32GB/LCD/wireless charging but thicker and bulkier
L925: frame metal/slimmer/AMOLED but more expensive/only 16GB shakehead.gif

Hmmmmm

I thought currently tech review the iPhone 6/6+ is the Best Smartphone Camera at the moment? laugh.gif And is easier bend than Nokia Lumia. whistling.gif #BendGate

Anyway, I don't mind with second hand sets, actually I looking at the AMOLED screen of Lumia 630 @ RM3XX. I will skip Lumia 920 as I was looking for AMOLED type of Lumia. Maybe will take Lumia 925 consideration.

temporary will not buy Windows phone . Been a user for Nokia Lumia 800 and Samsung ATIV S

It not because windows phone not good, its all because the usable application is really little or not available.

Even available, its all very old and not update version. Microsoft should give it a hits on this.
In the smartphone era, it not because how fluid your OS , its about the usable apps.

So you are saying that even there's app.. But the phone lagg like crap still acceptable then?
