Looking forward to Mancini's new tactical setup which could prove the dealbreaker in this fiery game. Not much to say here. Apart from wishing the team all the best and three points, I would finally be able to catch this match. Nevertheless as always, may the best team win and Forza Inter per sempre!!!

1-1 whistling.gif .

A result that is ok, but I still think we could've won if Icardi had finished better. Despite some lapses of Mazzarri-like tactics, I'm going to admit I'm starting to like this Inter now. icon_idea.gif A comeback from Menez's goal and a lot of hunger to get the winning goal, hats off to the team.

Of course, it ain't all that good. With bad passes and a couple of poor defending in which SES almost scored and we were lucky. Overall tho, 7/10.

yeah. not a bad result and we played quite good especially the first 10-15 minutes. yeah, icardi did fark that one up. seems like the only way for us to win a goddamn game is by scoring first. but why do we always have to concede first? sweat.gif

but still content. at least the team looked more organized and not clueless like when we were under mazzarri. kuzmanovic was pretty impressive as well, which was surprising.

All the best to Mancini on this one. Not too optimistic about this one but who knows, we might win. tongue.gif

Dodo and Osvaldo would be eager to start against their former team, as does Maicon who will star for the Giallarossi against us. nod.gif

Forza Inter per sempre! thumbup.gif

Roma vs Inter - Match ends 4-2. Can't really help it with the quality of Roma's players, as a team, they are light years ahead. Anyway, the spirit was what we wanted to see at least, and it kind of is there as we got level twice. Many individual mistakes (eg. Guarin for the last minute FK), bad link up and crosses (Mazzarri-like) coupled with a poor defence and a too adventurous Dodo, its the best we can get for now.

Next match : Stramacionni's Udinese yawn.gif

i did expect we would lose, and we did. we lost to a better team, simple as that.

yeah, now that we have played napoli, milan, roma, fiorentina. most of our remaining games for the first half of the season should be winnable. i hope we will not drop so many points now or we can forget about that thrice-damned third UCL spot.

Lol Mazzarri be damned. Look at Sassuolo, they are now ahead of us in the table doh.gif .

I expect a strong showing against Udinese but hope it won't get too emotional as Stramaccioni and Deki would be there sweat.gif .

i just don't give a shite anymore. we win, i'm happy. we lose, so what? biggrin.gif

better get used to that mindset now. but at least we can still boast about our 2010 treble triumph to make ourselves feel better. though even mourinho won't be able to mend this faktap circumstance that we're in rite now. biggrin.gif

Chievo 0-2 Inter

Initially, I had not wanted to catch this match but a stuffy nose got me up for one and a half hour. What can I say, I'm impressed with what I've seen.

Many positives we can take from this match with Kova grabbing a goal, a helpful Icardi (despite not being influential in the second half) and at last a spirited team that was constantly pushing for another goal (evident after we scored our second).

However, the defence tended to be shaky when relied on with Handa and our offensive play keeping Chievo's attack diminished.

Everyone put in a solid performance from Medel, DÁmbrosio to even Kuz. Guarin on the other hand, was kind of good in distributing play but had he not messed up our counters, we could've have scored past 5. Nagatomo was just ok and I'm happy the offense is good even without Osvaldo playing.

We should all rally behind Mancini as he knows what's he doing. Get him a couple of wingers, quality defenders and most importantly time. Of course, still lower your expectations because this is just Chievo but I can see the good work of Mancini here.

Finally, 3 points for our returning coach. Forza Inter!!

I see hehe. Celtic is surely a tough opponent. On the side note, Sassulo is a point behind us sweat.gif thanks to Mazzarri tongue.gif. I think if Mancio had taken over quicker, we could've have gained more ground especially fixtures against the weaker teams in the start of the season. It's the past and something past that still regrets me is why we pulled the plugged on Bonaventura. Born Interista, agile and creative. Well, he would fit into Mancio's tactics but not Mazzarri who cares about defending, crossing going for a draw yawn.gif .

The Lazio match is this upcoming Monday and I think it'll be the last morning match I'll wake up to watch for the season. Other times, I'll just catch 10 pm matches which is very rare sad.gif .

Inter vs Lazio. Match ends 2-2.

I think we really can't complain of the result especially being pegged behind 2 goals before the second half. Good comeback from the team for the final 25 minutes or so. And we only certainly start to play well in the second half which is doh.gif . If only we could play like that the whole match, I'm very sure this would've been a win.

Positives:
- managed to comeback from 2 goals
- Kovacic scored
- Palacio ends his goal drought
- Bonazzoli is seriously an interesting prospect cool.gif

Negatives :
- Guarin
- bad first half
- poor consistency (excluding the play after Kovacic scored)

Obviously, its a fair result here but I do feel we should've have won it had we played like in the final 25 minutes the whole match. Next up though, Juventus doh.gif . Forza Inter nevertheless!!

Forgot to state, I only watched the second half and from what I've read around, the tactical blunder of putting Dodo instead of Medel costed us and Medel was actually key to stabilizing the defence.

i only watched the 1st half, then got pissed off and decided to sleep.

yes, medel is crucial for us. not saying he's a good DM, but at least he does what is expected of a DM. you can't expect kuz, kova, or guarin to play such a role, mancio. our defense is a joke, so at least have the wits to play a proper DM at all times. speaking of DM, where the heck is m'villa? injured?

Kinda feel bad for you man, the second half was seriously good blush.gif (well for me at least).

Yep, they aren't attributed to do that. And just exclude Kova, he has to be the creative force and shouldn't have to defend much but just push and push forward.

Hmm speaking of M'Villa, he isn't injured but I remember reading he hasn't been at his best fitness due to not playing much in Russia before he came. I'm kinda worried if our coach isn't patient enough to wait for him to regain his best and in the end not buying him permanently. yawn.gif

wait, we do have another match before the year ends and it's a friendly between PSG on the 30th. well, not gonna catch it anyway tongue.gif .

Welcome to Inter Podolski!

Hope he'll be a huge success with us like how Gervinho is with Roma.

Particularly impressed with the coordination between the management and Mancio as with him, the club's ambition has heightened and we are starting to aim higher for top targets. I'll doubt that we would have pulled it off with Mazzarri still as head coach.

Forza Inter! flex.gif
