calling all interisti to assemble here if you guys still exist out there. biggrin.gif

played palermo at renzo barbera last nite. what a shitty game that was. we played like a bunch of wooden dildos. thanks to kovacic for that glimpse of individual brilliance tho.

forza inter nonetheless

hahahha... agreed. too many glory hunters nowadays, be it in clubs or countries. eg, u can easily spot people wearing german jerseys anywhere which were close to nonexistent before wc2014.

back to inter, hoping for a good title challenge from them this season. dont want serie a to be a two horse race only

a shame isn't it?

i think one mistake that inter made after winning the tripleta in 2010 was the failure to build the momentum and take advantage of the post-effects of such a triumph.

i mean, your team just won everything. the fanbase grew larger. the club's reputation got bigger. if i was moratti, i would spend like crazy for the next season. get bigger names to play for the team and build another formidable squad for the future.

but he didn't. he was complacent. benitez was not given the chance to get the players that he asked for. and worse, the players were complacent. but who could blame them? you just won everything the season before, so the motivation was understandably low.

and inter have only seen one direction since then, down. the team has been going downhill since the treble. yes i've heard stories of mighty giants falling, but not in such a rapid fashion.

maybe what was going through my head before the kick-off of the CL final 2010 just came true. i said to myself "if we win this one, i don't mind inter becoming a shit team for decades". and here we are now, a shit team. biggrin.gif

YESSS FINALLY!!! Thanks for making a 14/15 thread for Inter thumbup.gif thumbup.gif .

What I think Moratti should have done during the time we were Serie A winners for consecutive seasons was to have a plan on how to sustain the club's income so that it doesnt plunge to debt. Be it new stadium or increase deals with media companies, it should have been like that. Moratti was a huge fan but not really a businessman, now we have Thohir who seems that he has some vision to get us out of this FFP debt.

Moving on, the match against Cagliari tonight. I'm expecting to build on the Atalanta performance (probably our best performance this season so far, Sassuolo doesnt count). Icardi won't be fit to start here. This is a must win match and its matches like these where we have to gain all 3 points instead of settling for draws like against Torino or Palermo if we are to prove Juventus and Roma a challenge.

Forza Inter per sempre!!! icon_rolleyes.gif

aye mate couldn't agree more with moratti being the biggest fan of the team, but sadly he wasn't a good businessman when football today is business itself.

i think we have made a surprisingly good start to the season, better than what was expected. all of the new signings have been excellent. yeah, even vidic. apart from that brainfart against palermo, he has been commanding. medel is an absolute boss, and osvaldo, i love this dude as he offers more creativity upfront. loving his touches and off the ball movements. plus, he looks very much like khal drogo and that's cool as fark. laugh.gif

forza inter per sempre. let's get all 3 points tonite! (ibarbo and sau have indeed been a pain in the arse for inter for the past 1-2 seasons tho)

i was watching cesena - milan via streaming and at the same time following the live score of inter game. apparently nagatomo got sent off way too early in the first half and cagliari score 3 goals before HT

are you a fan of wooden dildos then? biggrin.gif

no live on tv, so i had to watch the game through a shitty stream thus couldn't really see much. i stopped watching at half time tho.

raped in the arse by cagliari. ibarbo was toying with our defense. meh, i'm pissed off for sure but i have kinda got used to this sort of results and pathetic displays.

and nagatomo doh.gif

it's difficult and unhealthy to be an inter fan. but, what can we do?

Looks like we're still a heck long way to the top... doh.gif

I think the team would have been playing great after Osvaldo equalised and when Yuto got sent off, everything broke down. I read that after he was gone, all remaining goals came from the left yawn.gif .

not sure if it was deserved sending off cos i couldn't see shit due to shitty streaming, but yuto has been playing like crap recently anyway. mazzarri should bench him and hope that'll knock some sense back into him. should play with either d'ambrosio or jonathan as rwb and dodo as lwb from hereafter.

and i really hope that mazzarri will stop with his ridiculous 3-man defense formation. gosh our football is just painful to watch.

ya lor. how the hell he dares to still stick with this 3 man defense. unless he can somehow think that his team is on par with juve, which is not rclxub.gif

mazzarri is just too stubborn. he's trying to hard to create an identity for himself. like mourinho is known as a master of counter-attacking football, guardiola is known as a master of tiki taka, etc. he wants to be known as a master of something too. he believes (or he pretends to believe) that this ridiculous 3-man defense formation is his specialty, something that he's good at, and he wants people to recognize him for that. too bad it's obviously not working well for him. he needs to stop shoving it down our throats (and his own as well) ffs.

2-0 win against some unknown team last nite in the europa league.

the result is okay, but it was horrible performance wise. bored the fark out of me and i just felt like sleeping the whole match. quite surprised how did i manage to stay on until the end.

d'ambrosio is developing a habit of scoring in EL. icardi with a clinical finish to wrap up the match.
