Well...it was watchable, like the Michael Bay Transformers kind of watchable. Laughable plot, action too dark and too much zoom in, and god damn exposition. Jared Leto as Joker is simply awful

Will Smith is pretty good so I give them that

Will Smith is never awful in any of his movies maybe except After Earth.

Jared Leto is the worst Joker on screen bv far.

Two best thing about this movie?
Quinn's backside brows.gif yum~
and Smith's top notch acting

the rest? all a forgettable mess

Joker is a major failure, a very one dimensional villain, not the clever, master mind, organised chaos type of Joker that fans of DC are familiar with

the rest of suicide squad members are a failure as well, killer croc's head are too big and out of proportion, capt boomerang a puny class C villain the most, Katana's acting is cringe worthy horrible, Diablo? suddenly he has a "family" that he doesn't fight together? Also they're all supposed to be hardcore criminals, and I think the producers/director forgot it halfway and turn them into Justice League doh.gif

oh, not to mention the villains, piece of crap they are, the common problem with superheroes movies nowadays, super strong overpowering at first, but puny at the end doh.gif

Wasted my money on the DBox as well, not as involve as CA3, so far IMO that's the best DBox experience I had is CA3.

WB/DC failed 1st attempt on heroes squad movie, another train wreck after the BvS

MoS was good, I still like it, then came BvS, which is bad but not horrible, but this 3rd one is horrible. Really can't imagine how the planned JL will turn out

Hope the next WC is a redeemer, and WB! stop meddling with the series!

Smith & Margot good acting still can't save this incoherent mess.

It's a movie made for brain dead viewers with low attention span. Solid 4/10 because I managed to stay awake until the end due to the popcorn sugar rush.

Jared Leto: I Was Tricked Into Being Part of Something Pitched Differently

QUOTE
Suicide Squad star Jared Leto feels as though he was "tricked" into taking on the role of Joker in Warner Bros.' new comic book film, according to a recent report.

The actor, who's also the lead singer of Thirty Seconds to Mars, shared a few thoughts on his role during a Q&A session at Camp Mars—an event Leto posted about on both Instagram and Twitter. According to a summary provided by a Leto fansite on Tumblr (via Batman-News), Leto is said to have felt "sort of tricked into being a part of something that had been pitched to him very differently."

According to the report, Leto said he thought it would be a more artistic production and was "overwhelmed by all the hate regarding the look and choices." He also said he hasn't yet seen the film after being disappointed to hear what did and didn't make it into the theatrical cut.

Leto also confirmed that his contract for Suicide Squad prohibited him from doing various dangerous activities that he enjoys, like rock climbing. In response to this stipulation by Warner Bros., Leto said "f—k 'em."

Suicide Squad opened earlier this month to negative critical reception. While the theatrical release doesn't feature very much of Leto as the green-haired villain, the actor said he shot enough Joker material for a whole movie.

That's wicked..

If the rant is true, we might have the shortest 'joker' tenure.
(If Warner Studio suits acts on it)

Even Leto isn't happy. should the the finger pointing continue or should supporters continue to defend for what was a messy effort (& rudderless) that was dished out. It has nothing to do with playing catching up.

It sad, true DC comics fans all lashed out the continued debacle that's been dished out, it doesn't justify the richness of materials that has graced both the pulp comics and the animated series.

When someone said Edge of Tomorrow and Man of Steel were box office failure, you realized this is merely an employee who got laid off ranting. No point reading.

Same can be said for most of the Marvel movie villians, except this year Civil War which technically has no villian.

Comparatively more was expected of MOS. it is after all the greatest superhero from DC Comics.

The pride and being the beacon lead for DC. After Nolans Dark Knight, MOS indeed hasn't quite live up, and if the box office takings were (just) okay. Above average but not spectacular

Superman series never made that much money. MoS is still way better than Superman Returns. Saying it was a box office failure shows the true nature of the writer, which is basically disgruntled due to all those layoffs.

DC does have better Villains then ALL villains in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Worst ones are Thor Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ultron, Fake Mandarin....etc

According to this report, Jared Leto scenes were cut in order to portray him to be a better person. Apparently he rather to be a total jerk and psycho on film though.

http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertai...r-a7181131.html

1) Scenes which he is abusive and murderous towards Harley were cut and reshot
2) Scenes showing him being a selfish jerk was cut

Also many scenes portraying the squad team members as bad persons are cut, which are what the audience apparently want to see more of.

Watched it twice in cinema, didn't get the BD though tongue.gif

Skipped X-Men Apocalypse, waiting patiently for the '1080p' and now (sadly), for this movie too.
