Hi all, can i check with you sifus whether waze is usable on Classic? or whether usable on os10. I have left BB 9310 about 2 years ago so not so up to date with it anymore.

Did a quick google and found some contradicting comments, some say have to side load but with some slight hiccups here and there, and some say just download straight from blackberry world and it works like a champ.

Please advise as it is important for me to have waze on my mobile and it is the only thing thats making me hesitant to get the blackberry. I'm very very very bad at remembering my way in klang valley unsure.gif

Thanks!

Works perfectly after downloading it from Amazon Appstore. This version is better than the one in BlackBerry World. Either way, WAZE is available thumbup.gif

The bluecube at the MV lower level(same row with Pizzahut) has the CLASSIC demo unit as I just test it out. Overall experience for me is much like a upgraded version of Q10 with toolbelt, which is already expected(same hardware spec with Q10.)

As the demo unit sitting side by side with Passport, I especially like the backcover of Classic. If you are a current bold series user, you will fall in love at first sight. However, with just another RM500-600 difference of pricetag, I just feel like Passport is more of a bang for the buck. cool2.gif

Want to get the Classic with contract from Celcom (my Maxis contract has expired) but confused with their 'First Plan'.

Want to get the cheapest plan and pay RM1k for the phone but not sure how complimentary 2Gb wi-fi works... Celcom charge us for using wifi?

That is Celcom Wifi bro. Some places (shopping malls) you can detect there is a Celcom Wifi where only Celcom subscribers can log in and use the network. It's a bummer that they still track how much bandwidth you use in these so called special Wifi area.

Settings-Notifications-Normal (Profiles)-Customize App Notifications

Email/SMS: LED on or off...even can set LED color

That's what I did but I didn't work. Then I downloaded LED tester from Apps Store and this also didn't seem to activate the LEDs...looks like I have a broken phone...gonna take it to dealer tomorrow for an exchange.

Thanks a lot.

I think Maxis has given up on BBs.

it's all Android and iOS for them now.

anyone own one yet?

1) I wish to know if VSCO Cam can install

2) and how's the USB-OTG ? is it seamless experience? Just plug in usb stick to usb-otg cable , and straight away can copy/write writes?

3) and how about plugging in camera to usb-otg ? on android, i plug in my camera, it loads up photo importer, then I select the photos

4) is there a way to set a global http proxy ? meaning , browsers and apps connection will go thru that proxy connection. on non-rooted android, I need to use an app like Drony, which creates a VPN chain to the http proxy

5) how are the sharing capabilities ? on android, I open a photo, I Can click Share to other apps. Can it share to other android apps ? That's something I wonder about

I'm not a heavy user, but most important to me are android apps like Waze, FB, Whatsapp, Instagram, VSCO cam.
