QUOTE(lp16 @ Dec 21 2014, 11:50 AM) US retailing at $499, so it's not a cheap phone. :'( It is USD449 for unlocked version, overpriced yeah. With the declining of the MYR against USD, I think BB Malaysia will price it at around 1.6-1.7k. Anything higher than 1.7k will only encourage the sale of Passport. Will have to wait a bit longer and see how it goes. Was really hopping to see the price on the lower RM1k side. But then again, the phone looks cool in the unboxing video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Djje12RkaQ This post has been edited by popsoul: Dec 28 2014, 07:59 PM |

Ya 1588 seems fair enough, although many see it as the same Q10 hardware with the additional toolbelt feature only.
IIRC the time Q10 launched, it was priced more than 2k. Isn't it? |

So I called up the bb retail store at e@curve, and being quoted 1888 for the classic. I actually wanted to find out if they got demo unit but no. Yet they inform the 1588 price tag is only for celcom. Crazy.
Anyone here knows where can I try out the demo? |

QUOTE(neorage_x @ Jan 19 2015, 08:59 AM) Anybody founds any Celcom outlet that have Classic demo unit? The bluecube at the MV lower level(same row with Pizzahut) has the CLASSIC demo unit as I just test it out. Overall experience for me is much like a upgraded version of Q10 with toolbelt, which is already expected(same hardware spec with Q10.)Thinking of testing the QWERTY keyboard. As the demo unit sitting side by side with Passport, I especially like the backcover of Classic. If you are a current bold series user, you will fall in love at first sight. However, with just another RM500-600 difference of pricetag, I just feel like Passport is more of a bang for the buck. |

Am glad I saved some souls hahaha.
Well enjoy the stays whilst Leap is launching soon. Some reports stated an all-touch PP2 is on its way by end of the year. |
