Please do homework at the crack berry forum before you jump. It was mentioned some time ago, that whenever your WA connects to the WA secure server, no matter you installed native BBOS WA apps or thru side loading of Android APK, WA server will recognize your connection from your BBOS handset... and thats the issue we have to live with.
Can receive medias sent from Android users, but not able to send medias to anybody...
Anyway it's best you try yourself. I tried many ways, compared to original android WA, I rather not use BB WA. But if u can live without certain functions, no harm using BB WA.

i see, seems legit. I only read about backup and transfer WA data in crackberry. didn't thought it would go that way. if only there's a way to flash android in Q20. unfortunately, BB not open for that for security reason.

I bought Bb q20 for my 2nd phone but sold the day after because the Bb ecosystem is so so so far behind from android or iOS. With limited sharing method, I think that s why Bb is going to dead.
