AMD’s cut down Fiji GPU has proved to be great competition for Nvidia’s GTX 980 and even knocks on the door of the more expensive GTX 980 Ti in some tests. Even with fewer texture units and shader cores the Radeon R9 Fury performs very close to as good as the full blown Fury X does. Sapphire has done an excellent job creating a robust cooling solution to keep this power hungry beast cool, while maintaining reasonably quite fan noise. The coil whine issue appears to be isolated to our sample, so judgement on that topic has been reserved until such time as we may test another copy.

mod should merge both thread together. what is the purpose of having AMD thread and AMD Radeon thread?

yeah im not upgrading cpu anytime soon my fx just is still capable now just waiting and see what windows 10 can do for my current setup 

Sir Goldfries, can you share your experience with your Fury X? I wish to know the feeling... Will it be the same feeling I had when I purchased my first ATI Radeon HD 5970! I wish to have that again...

BTW, have you had a good experience with AMD cards ? Just asking because I was suggested a nvidia card as the market share of AMD has dropped causing low stock availability and also low quality control. Apparently more AMD cards are being sent in for RMA.

Any thoughts on that ?
