i think that person would be me, i`ve finally changed my build to i5 and a 7970, i must say i can play high settings with this combo, but what i found out is that this build is not stable (Keeps auto restart and BSOD i suspect must be the PSU), but anyway the minimum requirement for the GPU is 500Watt, and my PSU is 550Watt, so i dont know why is this happening lol

Bro,your PSU in the first rig isn't that good.

For example,Aerocool Strike-X 800W vs Seasonic S12II 80+ Bronze 620W.Which one is better?The latter.

Why?Good quality parts inside etc.

so u saying that if i change my PSU, then this auto freeze, auto restart and also BSOD will be gone ? @.@

some PSU aren't good at handling higher loads.

It's not always about the wattage, more often than not it's about how the components deliver the power.

take for example lower end PSU or lower quality PSU, they may deliver the wattage claimed or may even not reach it at all, some can reach it but not for pro-longed periods.

good PSU from reputable brands go through stringent tests before being able to approve for packaging and such, brands like FSP for example do so at their factory (info from my conversation with them).

As for Aerocool their KCAS models work fine for me but I can't say the same for their Strike-X.

Strike-X 800w falls under Tier 4 - Not for overclocking systems or high end gaming rigs. May not even output labeled power and fail standard ATX specifications slightly. May even use cheap components to meet a price

a good chance will reduce crash.. if this cause by unstable power supply... u got any bsod error code or picture ? really wanna see what error say.. so on.

Pricing is far more complex than just taking the retail price in the USA and convert via currency exchange.

Each brand has their way of how to price their products in the market.

hmm so why is it when price increase seller excuses always on Currency exchange MY and US but when MY currency is Stronger no price lower and even when US selling R9 295X2 at 40% lower price in MY still continued original price ? *Greed seller* ? at moment AMD R9 290 series is at very good price.. than ever before.. as i see MY currency is weaker against US dollar.. yet cause AMD at moment trying to compete with Nvidia.. point is i think AMD in overall can enforce the selling price GPU.. is just strange why it not effect AMD R9 295X2 ? ? not a lot end -user buy so is not worth to lower price in MY market ? or getting 2x R9 290X is much better performance boost/price ? hmm eh

As for the price, it's easy to think of enforcing but like what we mentioned, many factors involved. Price of components in the market does not fluctuate base on current state in exchange rate.
